About the adventure
"Not far ahead were dreary hills, rising higher and higher, dark with trees. On some of them were old castles with an evil look, as if they had been built by wicked people." Join a Company of heroes based in Bree as they investigate a disturbing rumor brought south by a traumatized hunter. What begins as a mission to investigate a ring of standing stones on a barren hilltop will lead you on a perilous journey into the forgotten realm of Rhudaur. In this adventure, you will: • Investigate: Explore a site of ancient stones defiled by Goblins and discover the grim fate of those who cross the path of the Enemy. • Fight: Battle Goblins clad in wolf furs and their ferocious Warg allies who have launched brutal raids against the Hill-folk of Cránn. • Survive: Follow a trail of captives deep into the lone-lands, navigating a vast underground complex to confront what evil may lay below. Will you brave the dark hills to rescue the captured villagers and banish the shadow rising in the North?

We will handle Character Creation in a dedicated, free Session 0. The One Ring 2e is a unique system that really lends itself to spending time creating the character you want! There aren't as many options for the player to choose, but they are equally as impactful.

Preparing for the session
Bring a good mic, a good internet connection, as much or as little Tolkien knowledge as you can muster, and all the role-playing ability you can handle! “It's a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door.
