About the adventure
This campaign is meant to be an introduction to the Pathfinder 2E system. It is made with D&D 5E players in mind, but players of any experience level are welcome to join. The campaign is my own homebrewed module that will take the player characters from level 1 to level 3. It will help players understand the Pathfinder 2E system, including its benefits as well as its drawbacks. Most importantly, the campaign is completely free!

About me
I am a night owl that has loved playing TTRPGs for nearly a decade. Like many others, my first few years were with D&D 5E, but recently I've been consistently playing Pathfinder 2E. I've been a Game Master for several years, and I have run several games both online and in person.

Creating your character
Character creation will be discussed in greater detail during session zero. Short Version: - Players will create a character through Pathbuilder 2E, which is free to use - The character will start at 1st level and will be 3rd level by the end of the campaign - Players do not need to pre-build characters, but they are welcome to if they so chose
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need an account for Discord and Pathbuilder 2E. Upon joining the campaign, they will join a private Discord server where a link to a Foundry VTT game will be available.
What Aidan brings to the table
I greatly enjoy fleshing out my campaign with character voices and music. Combat is very tactical for my campaigns, but a combat encounter may be avoided with savvy role-play. Pathfinder 2E focuses heavily on the rules, and so most everything run in this campaign will be Rules as Written. That being said, critical successes and critical failures will have some unexpected surprises.
Homebrew rules
Critical successes and critical failures will result in drawing a card from a Critical Hit or Critical Fumble deck, which may help or hinder the party

How Aidan creates a safe table
I strive to keep my campaigns as comfortable as possible for everyone, which means being open and honest regarding what the campaign will entail. The RPG Consent Checklist will be used before the campaign begins. Lines and veils will be discussed during session zero.
