About the adventure

This campaign takes place in the long distant past of the Pokémon world. Where Humans are still an active part of the food chain. To survive they have to hunt and fight alongside Pokémon. You are from a village hidden in an alcove of a ravine. Finally leaving your village to start your journey. Given a starter Pokemon you'll be going to other villages, gathering knowledge about the world and becoming stronger. On your travels you will need to forage for food and shelter while defending yourself against wild Pokemon. The Region is refereed to as Dirt, with your village not having much information on the wider world bar their immediate surroundings. This takes place before the invention of modern poke balls or major civilization. Meaning humanity and Pokemon live directly along side each other. This regions special gimmick is fusion with some people who have an incredible bond with their Pokemon can partially fuse them. Leading to a powerful warrior. The Vibe is similar in theme to avatar the last air bender. With death, danger consequence being very real threats but the tone is rather lighthearted. The region is unique so you ll be seeing new Pokemon mixed in with old ones. In session 0 you ll build your characters together and flesh out your backstory s and why you want to go on this adventure. We ll be using a system I made called triumph. It is built specifically for custom campaigns like this and is extremely easy to learn. I made an automatic character creator and can teach the rules in less then 5 minutes. If you like to be creative you ll love this I promise. --- First player in pays half the session price forever!

About me

Hiya! Names Shrug / Tommy. Do you like over the top and down right goofy behavior? Well by god you have come to the right place! I've been playing RPGs since 2019 and have been addicted ever since. For me the hobby is entirely about fun. Be that role-play, drama, high stakes, low stakes or just taking a load off and rolling some dice. I highly encourage player freedom over all else. The rules, to me at least, are just a vehicle to have fun with a story we build together. I play Powered by the apocalypse games, D20 systems and my own game Beauty in Hell. Favorite Systems; Blades in the Dark. Heart the City Beneath Daggerheart Masks the next generation

What to expect

Preparing for the session

We ll Primarily be using Discord and Alchmey VTT.

What Shrug (Tommy) brings to the table

I use Alchemy Vtt with its scene feature to make the game is really immersive. I use czepku scenes so it all looks gorgeous. Along with of course a sick music playlist.

Homebrew rules

For now We will just be using rules as written but I am open to changes if there is snags.

Safety

How Shrug (Tommy) creates a safe table

I generally only use the x card system but for the campaign we can all fill out the RPG Consent checklist. I dont mind either way just to get a baseline of what we want from the campaign.
