About me
I'm a gamemaster and storyteller with almost 10 years of experience running personalized campaigns for both strangers and friends. From gritty personal stories to high flying adventures, I take delight in sharing these with my players. As a hobbyist voice actor I also endeavor to add creative flair to any speaking NPC, giving them each a voice and personality. Looking forward to the next journey with you.

Creating your character
Character creation aligns with Mage 20th anniversary rules. Finer points of character creation will be discussed during Session Zero, but this is the basic outline: - No Marauders or Nephandi - 7/5/3 allocation for Attributes - 13/9/5 allocation for Abilities - 7 points to spend in Backgrounds (some dots cost more than 1) - You may take up to 7 points worth of Flaws - 15 freebies - 6 dots in spheres of your choice, 1 of which must be your affinity sphere - 50 additional XP to represent specialized training or harrowing experiences.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Access to Discord is the only necessity.
What Cobalt brings to the table
I have nearly all the M20 books, and I'm happy to assist anyone who doesn't have access to them. Any Mage books printed for 20th anniversary are fair game. Books printed for earlier editions can also work, the material just might need some workshopping.
Homebrew rules
- Effects that are learned as Rotes or Adjustments lower the difficulty to cast them by 1 - Players begin play with up to 3 Rotes or Adjustments, and can learn/invent more by spending 1 freebie or XP per highest dot of the effect. (You are allowed to learn rotes that you cannot cast, choosing to wait until you possess the required spheres before using it.) - In addition to its normal effects, Willpower can be spent to reroll checks. - Mage characters do not have access to Sorcery paths
