About the adventure
You’ve ever joined a table excited… then the group ghosts, scheduling falls apart, or you’re stuck feeling behind on the rules. If you want a real table with good vibes and a clear path to confidence in PF2e, this is it. New to Pathfinder 2e? This is your on-ramp. Menace Under Otari (the official Beginner Box adventure) is a short, guided series built to teach PF2e the fun way: by playing. We’ll learn the 3-action system, teamwork tactics, exploration, and roleplay in a low-stress dungeon crawl right under the coastal town of Otari. My table vibe is structured, respectful, and fun. I keep pacing tight, spotlight shared, and rules clear without turning the table into a rules court. New players are welcome, questions are welcome, and I’ll actively help you succeed—especially in your first few combats. Format and leveling: Session 0 Lite is included. The first 30–45 minutes of Session 1 is setup + safety + Foundry orientation, then we play. This is a short-run series that usually finishes in 2 sessions (sometimes 3 depending on the group). We start at Level 1 and “graduate” to Level 2 using milestone leveling (no XP bookkeeping). Pregens are available if you want to jump straight into play, and if you’d rather bring your own character, I’ll help you build something that feels good to run. Next steps (optional): If you vibe with the table, Bootcamp graduates get priority access to open seats in my flagship campaigns. Abomination Vaults can begin at Level 2 when it’s a direct continuation of this Beginner Box track, so everyone starts on equal footing. Age of Ashes is a separate campaign that starts at Level 1. Either way, you’ll know the system, know the table, and be ready to roll.

About me
Greetings, brave adventurers! My tale as a Dungeon Master begins not in a mythical land far away, but in a setting just as impactful—the camaraderie and challenges of a deployment. Amidst the trials, Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition and Pathfinder 1st Edition became more than games; they were escapes into realms of endless possibility, where my buddies and I could explore, conquer, and create for 5-10 hours a day. The experience was transformative, turning ordinary days into extraordinary adventures. My journey started with a character that will forever hold a special place in my heart, symbolizing not just a role in a game, but a part of my identity. As time went on, the difficulty of finding games that matched the intensity and camaraderie of those deployment sessions led me to Roll20. There, I not only found new parties but also had the opportunity to bring them into the very first world I had ever explored as a player. This process was not just about gaming; it was a path to discovering more about myself and what I truly valued in these shared experiences. As your Dungeon Master, my deepest hope and joy lie in recreating that same sense of magic and discovery for others. I aim to guide you through stories that are more than just adventures—they are opportunities to explore yourselves, to build bonds that transcend the game, and to find joy in the shared creativity that tabletop RPGs offer. What sets me apart is not just my background or my passion for TTRPGs, but my commitment to capturing the essence of those first, unforgettable sessions. My style blends the immersive world-building of those early campaigns with the flexibility and innovation that comes from years of adapting stories for new parties online. I believe in creating a space where every decision matters, where every character can change the world, and where every player has the opportunity to find a bit of themselves in the adventure. If you're looking for a Dungeon Master who understands the power of TTRPGs to bring people together, create lasting memories, and reveal inner truths, then look no further. I invite you to join me at the table, where we can embark on a journey not just through fantastical landscapes, but also through the landscapes within ourselves. Let's create those unforgettable moments together. The adventure begins now, and I can't wait to see what magic we will discover together.

Creating your character
You can join with a pregen (fast start) or bring a custom character. Either way, I’ll make sure your sheet is correct and you feel confident using it in Foundry. Starting level: Level 1 Leveling: Milestone leveling to Level 2 by the end of this short-run series (usually 2 sessions). Option A: Pregens (recommended for brand-new players) If you’re new to PF2e, pregens are the easiest way to jump straight into play. I’ll provide pregen options and help you pick one that matches your playstyle (tanky, damage, support, skills, etc.). You can always customize later once you understand the system. Option B: Custom characters (welcome) If you want to bring your own character, you have two choices: Build it yourself (I’ll review it), or Build it with me (guided support). When character creation happens Session 0 Lite is built into Session 1. The first 30–45 minutes of Session 1 covers: introductions, table expectations, safety tools, Foundry setup, and a quick character sheet check. If you want extra help before Session 1, message me and I’ll help you get ready. Build rules (simple + beginner-friendly) Allowed sources: Core Rulebook + Beginner Box options are always safe. If you want options from other official PF2e books, ask first—I’m usually flexible, but I keep this intro game streamlined for new players. Stats: Standard PF2e ability boosts (no rolling stats). Variant rules (same as my flagship tables): Free Archetype, Ancestral Paragon, and Gradual Ability Boosts are used in this series, but don’t worry—pregens and guided choices are available so it stays simple. Foundry / tools We play online using Foundry VTT (I’ll provide the link) and Discord voice. Please have a working mic and be ready to do a quick audio check at the start.

What Anarian brings to the table
You’re not just getting a dungeon crawl—you’re getting a guided PF2e on-ramp with a GM who keeps the table moving and the vibe right. What you can expect from me: 1. Beginner-friendly coaching: I teach PF2e as we play (3-action economy, conditions, teamwork, and smart tactics) without making you feel slow or behind. 2. Session 0 Lite + smooth onboarding: The first 30–45 minutes of Session 1 covers intros, table expectations, safety tools, Foundry basics, and character sheet checks so everyone starts clean. 3. Tight pacing + shared spotlight: I keep turns moving, keep scenes focused, and make sure everyone gets their moments (even at a full table). 4. Tactical combat that stays fun: PF2e rewards teamwork. I’ll help the party coordinate without “backseat piloting.” 5. Respectful table culture: Good vibes enforced. We’re here to have fun, not be weird or disrespectful. 6. High-quality Foundry experience: Clean maps, lighting, tokens, and automation where it helps (without slowing the game down). 7. Immersion extras: Ambient music/sound when it enhances the scene, clear narration, and character voices when it fits—without turning it into a one-man show. 8. Rules clarity with flexibility: I generally run Rules as Written for consistency (especially for teaching), but I’m not allergic to the Rule of Cool when it keeps the story fun and fair. Safety
How Anarian creates a safe table
Player safety and comfort are non-negotiable at my table. We start with a quick Session 0 Lite at the beginning of Session 1 (about 30–45 minutes) where we cover table expectations, boundaries, and how to use the safety tools. Before we play, I’ll share a simple Lines & Veils / consent check-in (in Discord) so you can privately flag anything you want avoided or “fade to black.” During play, we use X / N / O in chat or by DM at any time: X = stop/skip immediately, no questions asked N = soften / fade to black / change framing O = all good, keep going You can also just say “pause” and I’ll adjust the scene. Open Door is always active: you can step away for any reason without explanation. We take breaks as needed (usually every 60–90 minutes). At the end of each session, we do a short debrief (Stars & Wishes) to make sure everyone’s having fun and to catch issues early. If anything feels off after the session, I’m available for aftercare check-ins and I’ll handle it respectfully and privately.
