About the adventure
**This Campaign is being offered exclusively as an IN-PERSON game for players in the Salem-Keizer, OR (USA) area.** The lands of Barovia are as rich in lore as they are filled with danger. As your guide through this adventure I aim to bring life the the world in a way that resonates and immerses players in the gothic-horror that only the Curse of Strahd can provide. In this campaign your characters will be challenged to survive in a foreign and inhospitable realm that will push them to the limits of their abilities. You will meet memorable and intriguing character that will be both friend and foe. Explore the crypts of long dead knights and thwart the evil schemes of fanatic cultists. Each location, an adventure of it's own. Every Character, a mystery to unravel. Every combat, a test of tactical might and wit. You triumph cannot be be sure, but your experience within Ravenloft is guaranteed to be one that you will never forget.

About me
Hi! I'm Gabe. I've been playing D&D 5e since 2018 and started GM-ing for friends and family since 2019-'20. I currently GM online for my family and friend's Curse of Strahd home game, as well as at my local game store. I love collective storytelling and challenging players to think outside the box- to push their minds and character sheets to their limits. Having a fun and welcoming table is always a number one priority for me, whether I am playing or GM-ing.

Creating your character
This campaign will be played using the Dungeons & Dragons 5e 2024 rules system. Character creation will be finalized during Session 0 where everyone can "roll stats" and receive the campaign background and primer. We aim to keep this adventure pretty "by the book", so homebrew material or previous editions will be limited.

What Gabriel M brings to the table
As your GM, I will do my upmost to provide an immersive experience during each session. The private TTRPG rooms we will play in have custom gaming tables with complete audio/visual capabilities that I utilize to their fullest. Each location we explore will have fully colored artwork for scenes and battle/dungeon maps, as well as having an audio playlist to help set each mood. I also do my best to voice each NPC with unique and interesting voices to help add character and bring them more to life. In addition, Each player will receive the following upon joining their first session: 1. A campaign folder to keep their handouts, character sheet, and other notes. And 2. 1 complete dice set. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to message me. I'm happy to discuss!
Homebrew rules
Will settle on what optional rules to use during session 0 where I will propose a few simple changes that I feel enhance the experience of the campaign module. Feel free to message me if you have any specific questions.
