About the adventure

Werewolf the Apocalypse 5, is a game about monsters watching the world disintegrate. The Apocalypse is behind you and you failed to stop it. Will you strive to make the most of the time left or strike out for more time? You are the monster, with claws to rend and fangs to tear, but Werewolf the Apocalypse 5 isn't about combat, it's about the frustration of inability and hopelessness of fighting a battle you know you're going to loose.

About me

Who am I? I'm an old school GM looking for a game with new world mentality. I value storytelling and character growth as well as inclusion. Everyone at my table deserves to be there and feel the spotlight on their skin, I try to make sure everyone gets their 5 minutes of fame. I started roleplaying when I was young playing cops 'n robbers with a forcefield, until i discovered Advanced Dungeons and Dragons 2nd edition (as a GM) and then Werewolf the Apocalypse (as a storyteller) and my mind was finally broken when I found a copy of Streetfighter the Storytelling game. I try to embody all the lessons I've learned from past games in my next game. Help me tell the best story ever.

Character creation

Creating your character

Character Creation and the First change Scenario will be free, regardless of how long it takes. This is meant to be an introduction to the system and the world of darkness. Feel free to do your own research regarding WtA5, you can find a ton of info from the Paradox wiki (see below), however, session 0 will be an opportunity for all players to cement their characters together as well as discuss all the elements involved in character creation. https://wta.paradoxwikis.com/Werewolf_The_Apocalypse_Wiki

What to expect

What GMJames brings to the table

in addition to fostering a safe space to throw out the coolest ideas, I am an accomplished writer with the ability to convey invocative and interesting scenes. I respond as often as I'm able and include a TLDR recap in discord. One on One character creation with the intent to provide your best options without telling you what to choose. The choice is yours I'm just trying to make sure that it's something that we at the table can all have fun with.

Homebrew rules

When and if combat breaks out, list objectives, preferred plan of attack and at least one back-up plan in the event that things don't go as planned. Combat should never take more than 3 or 4 rounds.
