About the adventure
🛸 Interested in Mothership? Not sure where to start? Afraid to join a group without having some experience first? I've got what you need! 👽 This one shot will be composed of a single session that will go over the core mechanics of Mothership, walk you through the character creation through Foundry, and a small, seemingly "simple" task for you to complete alongside the group. Surely you'll all survive, right? 👾 The option for some pre-gen characters will also be available in case you're not sure of what to pick as well as answers regarding any questions you might have about the unknown horrors of space (and beyond!)

About me
Going more than a decade strong in the hobby. Started with nothing more than a group of friends with a second-hand 3.5 player handbook and now I've got at least a dozen campaigns under my belt in all sorts of systems, from 5e to Dark Heresy and Delta Green. What I aim to bring is... - 1️⃣ A table where people can speak to one another casually and easily. Good vibes, good jokes, good times. - 2️⃣ Helping players spread their wings with their roleplay chops. I want to know your character's backstory, the people they care about and those they loathe in equal measure. Weaving together everything the players bring to the table is, I've found, the best way to create memorable moments. - 3️⃣ Challenging combat with stakes. I'll fully admit that I usually start off with kiddy gloves to measure how capable my players are, but once I know your limits I'll be having you ride the fine line between living and dying. If my rolls actually work out, that is... - 4️⃣ A space where you can come to me behind the scenes without worry. If something comes up that puts a damp in your enjoyment, your schedule is suddenly hellish, or practically anything else? If it's within my power to change then let's see what we can do!

Creating your character
No need to create any characters beforehand! We'll do them within the session itself since it takes no time at all when it comes to this system.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Webcam will not be necessary, but microphone is a must. Players will be provided with all the materials necessary to learn the rules and system. It's not necessary to read everything, but at least a rough understanding of the system is encouraged before the session starts.

How Kralion creates a safe table
As this is a simple one-shot for learning the game, safety tools will be kept at a minimum, but there will be a zero tolerance policy for any sort of abuse or the like. Please do not be afraid to DM me in case anything about the session or the other players is making you uncomfortable. When the group is in agreement we'll take a 10 to 15 minute break to decompress, stretch, get a drink, etc.
