About the adventure

This is my first time running this game, so I'm just going to start with a simple one shot. I will however be more than happy to turn it into a campaign if it runs well enough. I already am rather impressed with the rules, all though I may run it with pre made characters that the authors of the game made to go with it. This also would be a great way to learn the game your self if you ever wanted to buy the game your self, or want to make a character from scratch your self. The system is combining a d10 system with bonus d4, d6, d8, and d 12 dice. So basically roll a skill with base d10s and your character traits will add other dice to surpass a TN. If that doesn't make a lot of sense, don't worry. I can also explain by showing you in the game. Which is a lot of what this one shot will be as well. Learning both the world and rules. There will be a free session zero where most of the game will be learned, and the one shot is where we will have an actual real session. If we do session zero and you aren't feeling the game. That's totally fine. No pressure to do the one shot later. The setting takes place in a city called Neo Edo. Think of an imaginary version of Tokyo. A similar but less grimmy and doom oppressive feel of Shadow Run. Cephalism is still with held by the Empress. But the world is changing, and change in the government is imminent. You choose a race and a faction. The races are Human, Bakeneko (cat people), Kappa, Karasu (Bird people), Kitsune, Oni, Saru, (monkey people) Tanuki, Usagi, and a special andriod build. Factions run from people who favor old magics, to new tech, to goverment loyalist, to capitalist corps, biker gangs, unaligned paths, and others. I will go into more details when I talk to you through messages about the factions. As for what is happening in this one shot, I haven't decided yet, but that will more run on the group of characters first and I will come up with an idea around that.

About me

Hi, my name is Jordan. I am looking to GM such games as, Legend of the five rings, 7th sea, and the Dresden Files. My play style can be text or voice. I'm not into miniatures on a map tactic style combat. I'm paid by the session for now. I'm going to figure out the best way for me to be paid but I still want to be cheap. My big play style is one on one text base on discord. Both vanillia and errotic

Character creation

Creating your character

I will go over pre mades with you and what is available. However if you are already familiar with the game we can go over a brand new character together.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

We will have a discord room for out of character talk and be playing in roll 20. I would ask that people can hear you clearly on a microphone or headset.

What Jordan brings to the table

I will provide everything you need. You just need something to go on roll 20 and discord with. A microphone, and be able to see the character sheets.

Safety

How Jordan creates a safe table

Session 0 on how to play the game and the basic rules. And there aren't really any major dark themes in this game, but there is mild violence.
