About the adventure

There's something wrong with the world, and you know exactly what it is. 50 years ago, everything burned, caught alight in the fires of creation. You can still hear them - the psychic maelstrom of all those incinerated souls pressing into the back of your skull like a burning-hot brand. All you have now is what's left. What will you make of it? Are you a Harrier, raging across the flats with your hard-headed gang of road warriors? An Angel, offering salvation to the dead and dying? Or a Lawmaker, ruler of one of the last bastions of 'civilization', meting out justice to those who break your rules? No matter what you are, you'll need to cling tight to what's yours. Good, reliable folk are few and far-between. You may even come into direct conflict with the other players, your friends around the table. When that happens, we'll use safety tools and open discussions to be sure we're all on the same page. Just because our characters are clashing doesn't mean we, as players, need to be in conflict - we should be cheering them on! If you are interested in playing, but would require financial assistance in order to participate, please reach out to me over direct message so we can work out an arrangement!

About me

Hi, I'm Clarissa! I've been playing TTRPGs ever since I was a kid, and I've been running games professionally for three years now. I love RPGs for their intersection of game mechanics and collaborative storytelling. My goal is to give each player a space to express their character and contribute to an interlocking narrative. I view myself as a host, contributor, and facilitator of games. My goal is to draw out your good ideas, stir them up in a pot with everyone else's, and play to find out what we get. The play itself is transformative, and creates something wholly unique, that none of us could have imagined or anticipated

Character creation

Creating your character

We will create characters together in session zero, and entangle them together to create a web of relationships and drama.

The current party

We will have our session zero on February 17th!

What to expect

Preparing for the session

You will need a Discord account to join our server and meet your fellow players!

What Clarissa brings to the table

First and foremost, I provide a professional experience. I curate our table to make sure we have a good group of players, I teach the rules in a clear and concise way, and I'll help you troubleshoot any technical issues you might run into. I provide the framework of a world, and then guide our table to fill it out together as we play. I'll create a web of threats that encroach on our characters from inside and out - water-cults, biker gangs, monstrous wildlife, and raider warlords alike! As a GM, I try to create a cinematic, high-drama experience. I like to pull on the heartstrings, and put characters in tough spots where they have to choose between what's moral, and what's personally beneficial. I think the most interesting thing about TTRPGs is the exploration of relationships between the characters, NPCs, and the world they exist in. I strive to create an experience that resonates.

Safety

How Clarissa creates a safe table

We will create a set of Lines and Veils during session zero, and review them together. I utilize the X Card, Open Door policy, and Stars and Wishes to create a safe, responsive environment.
