About the adventure

System: D&D 5e with Narrative Ascension Style: Story-driven, character-focused, earned progression This campaign uses Narrative Ascension, a story-first progression system where feats, subclasses, fighting styles, and special abilities are earned through play, not automatically chosen at level-up. Characters still level normally, gaining hit points, spell slots, and core class features. However, true power comes from choices, trials, and lived experience. Fighters master combat through battle, monks through discipline, rogues through survival, paladins through devotion, barbarians through awakening rage, wizards through discovery, sorcerers through inner evolution, and warlocks through dangerous bargains. Subclasses are unlocked through Trials tied to your character’s growth. Optional harder trials offer greater rewards for those willing to take bigger risks. Wizards discover spells in the world rather than relying on preparation, sorcerers refine their magic instead of collecting it, and warlocks negotiate power with real consequences. This is an RP-forward campaign focused on long-term character arcs, meaningful growth, and earning your legend. If you enjoy story-driven play, creative problem-solving, and characters who become stronger because the story changes them, this table is for you.
