About the adventure

The land of darkness we are bound for is called Druskenvald, a realm where the sun has not risen in centuries and every shadow hides a memory. Travelers arrive aboard the Ghostlight Express, a spectral train that carries the living into the Hollow. Its whistle cuts through fog and superstition alike, and when it fades, you stand in a world where faith and fear are the same thing. You will walk crooked roads, bargain with things that wear human skin, and learn the price of hope beneath a bleeding moon. Will you cling to your light, or become part of the stories whispered after dark? This is a folk horror campaign for D&D 5e, blending gothic mystery, dark fairytales, and survival. Expect roleplay steeped in atmosphere, choices that matter, and horror that grows not from sudden fright, but from what you choose to believe.

About me

Heyo! I'm Bear! I have been playing D&D for roughly five years, starting off my time as a DM and occasionally as a player. As a DM I enjoy crafting large worlds and forming a story both my players and myself can be proud of. I run respectful games for anyone and everyone that passes by my table. While my main focus is D&D5E, I've been looking into dming a Dragon Age: Inquisition game and possibly a Dishonored game as well.

Character creation

Creating your character

Before the session, I will talk with the player about their plans, helping making their sheet in foundry. Here are some things we will discuss! 🧵 Fateweaving: An addition to your background/story to draw/connect your character into the story over the course of The Crooked Moon. Each Thread carves their own path.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Players should read up on the content, start brainstorming for a character, and work on a basic backstory! They should also ensure they join my discord, have a Forge VTT account so we can play.

What UndeadBear brings to the table

I bring unique and fun voices to the players, alongside music from monument studios! Using a various amount of homebrew, I aim to bring a more fun experience in the campaigns! I am described as a GM who lets you have your moments with rule of cool while also letting the rules stick. I like to mix in my players into the world and let them build their world out from step one! A backstory of yours will be touched on and I will be sure that everyone gets the spotlight. I have many online books in dnd beyond for ease of character creation! Homebrew is also allowed, I implore players to be creative and enjoy their builds! If I look at it and see potential I will allow it!
