About the adventure

Once every eight years, the Witchlight Carnival drifts into the mortal world, a riot of impossible colors, strange music, and laughter that feels a little too nostalgic. This campaign tells a story of lost things and broken bargains, where characters are defined as much by absence as by ambition. You’ll journey through Prismeer, a fractured Fey domain shaped by strange rulers and tangled politics, meeting talking beasts, sorrowful tricksters, and fey who smile like they’re hiding secrets. Choice sits at the heart of the adventure. Obstacles can be overcome through wit, compassion, negotiation, or daring creativity. Combat is present, but it is never the only solution, and often not the most powerful one. About me

I love nothing more than building worlds, shaping a place full of history, mystery, and possibility, and then handing it over to players to explore, shape, and leave their mark on. My goal as a GM is simple: make sure my players feel their choices matter, that their backstories come alive, and that they walk away from the table with stories they’ll remember for years. I’ve recently fallen in love with Daggerheart, though my roots still run deep in good ol’ Dungeons & Dragons. I run games rich with roleplay, layered with deep party connections, and spiced with heart-pounding combat against enemies you can’t wait to outwit—or defeat. I see rules not as shackles, but as tools. They give us structure, but they should never cage a player’s imagination. Every mechanic can be a springboard for something fantastical, where creativity, both mine and my players’, takes center stage. Character creation

Creating your character

Feel free to create your Level 1 character on Demiplane before we begin! During Session 0, we’ll review all character sheets, help anyone who needs it, and answer the connection questions. You can use both the Daggerheart book for guidance and class options, as well as the Void options—just be sure to ask before choosing a Transformation card. Character sheets can be kept on Demiplane, but I also provide the FoundryVTT Daggerheart system, which supports them as well.

Preparing for the session

Upon joining the game, you’ll receive the Discord server link. On the day of the game, you’ll also get the FoundryVTT access link! - Have a Discord account - Have a Demiplane account - Bring a positive attitude!
