About the adventure

Get ready for exhilarating, exciting battles in space and on the land in this Star Wars campaign! Set in the Outer Rim during the reign of the Empire, this campaign will take players to familiar locations like Tatooine, Bespin, Nal Hutta, and maybe even some Homebrew (or legendary) locations! Characters will begin as 1st level characters seeking what some might call mercenary work in the infamous port city of Mos Eisley. Taking on a contract that could be good money, worth its high risk, the party will come together to steal from an Imperial transport passing through the planet. Not to spoil anything, but when thinking about your character... think too about the ship role you might want to have them play :) Important: My tables are open and accepting environments with a zero tolerance policy for bigotry or ignorance. Please come into this with an open mind and heart, and an excitement and love for the source material!

About me

My name is Jared, a writer, teacher, and philosopher, and I am so excited to run some games for you! A little about me: 🐲 I've been playing D&D 5E basically since release, running games for my friends since I was 15. 🦉 I studied philosophy and media studies, and am deeply interested in how we tell stories and what we can learn from them. 🫖 I love a little homebrew, and love to challenge and play with the rules. I've been DMing for friends & campers for a long time, and I thought now was the time to bring my passion to the public! I would be so thrilled if you would join my table or have me come run for yours :)

Character creation

Creating your character

Characters will begin at first level, with a plan to level up every 2 sessions! Please roll with 4d6 drop the lowest, and you may reroll 1s. If you'd prefer Standard Array or Point Buy, just let me know that's what you're doing! We'll also sit down and talk about the system during Session 0, and get to know ship roles and everything as well :))

What Lyceum Dropout brings to the table

I am an experienced GM who is excited to try SW5e! I'm excited to play around with the rules and experience the Star Wars universe with new players. My games tend to be roleplay heavy with unique combats designed to challenge the players and the rules. With this being a Homebrew campaign, I'll also be figuring out maps and things like that on the fly. It'll be fun, exciting, and sometimes technically challenging. All part of the amazing experience!

Safety

How Lyceum Dropout creates a safe table

Players will all be expected to fill out a Consent Form before Session 0. We will also be having a FREE session 0 where we'll get to know each other, talk about our needs and wants in a campaign, and more! My tables are safe and inclusive environments free from bigotry. I aim to treat each of my players with the inherent worth and dignity I believe they deserve, and I expect the same from you. Any such bigoted behavior will be met with a zero tolerance removal from my table.
