About the adventure

Beginner and LGBTQ+ friendly! Free Session 0! "The town of Sandpoint has seen more than its fair share of danger and trouble over the years, including harrowing fires, prolific serial killers, goblin raids, and attacks by giants and dragons, but what faces the so-called Light of the Lost Coast now is its greatest threat yet! A new band of heroes must step in to save this legendary small town from seven deadly dooms!" This game will connect Seven Dooms for Sandpoint with the Mythic Adventure Revenge of the Runelords. You'll play heroes from level 4-12 that'll save the town of Sandpoint from local terrors, then grand, mythical heroes dealing with world-ending threats from levels 12-20. Seven Dooms for Sandpoint is a megadungeon adventure. You'll be moving between going into a dungeon, fighting enemies and avoiding traps, and going back to Sandpoint to deal with scared townfolk and talking with family and recurring NPCs.

About me

Hello! I'm Taya, Brazilian, he/him, 30, and I've been playing tabletops for 15 years now, DMing for 12 of these. I've always been a creative kid, and I would certainly have been a theater kid had I had the chance. I have experience with D&D 3e, 3.5, 4e, 5e, Pathfinder, Pathfinder 2e and Starfinder. I've also read Worlds Without Number, Stars Without Number and Avatar Legends, but never played them. I'm willing to teach anyone no matter the skill level, my style is focused on having fun as players while playing within the rules, also trying to create NPCs and stories you'll be both entertained and invested in. Games 100% LGBTQ+ friendly!

Character creation

Creating your character

Characters will be created during session 0 on Foundry, voice over discord. Campaign starts at level 4, ends at level 20. We will be using Free Archetype and Gradual Ability Boost. You may play any Starfinder class except Operative, with vetoes regarding technological stuff (you can't play a Piloting Envoy, for instance). Soldier can only use the melee subclass. Starfinder spells related to technology (Delete, Recharge Weapon, Summon Robot etc) are NOT allowed. Otherwise, Starfinder spells should be fine, but I'm in my right to vetoe it if I deem it too powerful or inappropriate. Uncommon ancestries, heritages and classes allowed. Uncommon spells, feats and all rare options (classes, ancestries, feats, etc) are allowed on a case-by-case basis.

The current party

The party is level 4 (the start of the adventure) and consists of a magical inventor with a construct, a charisma-based occult Witch that summons stuff and a ranged Rogue.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

An understandable microphone and a discord account are necessary. Try to have your mind open to characters options, as party composition is quite important in Pathfinder. Also, if you haven't played Pathfinder 2e before, let me know so I'll know how to best prepare for you. Foundry VTT makes it so much easier to learn the system, so don't be afraid of joining in!

What Taya brings to the table

- A GM with willingness to change the original campaign to better suit the party; - Immersive roleplay and tactical combat; - Great knowledge of Pathfinder 2e rules; - A plethora of third party books, including all of Team+ books; - As a GM, I don't aim to "win" or "defeat the players", I want to make a player-driven story with your help!

Safety

How Taya creates a safe table

We will use a free Session 0 to talk about the tone of the game so we all have the same expectations. I'll give everyone a link to a google document where you'll be able to input your own Lines and Veils. I'm also always open to feedback if there's anything you'd like to see less of.
