About the adventure
An adventure based on the Pathfinder Strange Aeons AP converted to 5e. You awake with no memory of who you are. Above you, a twin sun double eclipse sheds dim light on the ancient, abandoned city you stand within, but do not recognize. Humanoid figures close in, emerging from the shadows as if made from them; their faces void of feature beyond eyes that shine like stars in the dark tapestry. Beyond them, a great storm of yellow fog rapidly approaches... Can your party survive long enough to unravel the mystery of their dark past? This is a grimdark adventure that includes: 1) A sanity mechanic 2) Houserules to increase the challenge of 5e. 3) A unique 3D game environment that not only serves as an exceptional VTT, but also offers a fully immersive, full avatar experience for many scenarios. 4) Equal parts exploration, RP, and combat. 5) Free session 0

Creating your character
Starting Level 1 Attribute generation is Point Buy Character creation on D&D Beyond is best as it is compatible with the Avare bot we use on Discord, but not required. Cthulu by Torchlight content is welcome. Recommended classes to start include: Barbarian, Warlock, Artificer, Monk, Rogue, Sorcerer, and Druid. No Paladins/Clerics as first chars. WARNING: Character classes that are gear-dependent will struggle early on.

Homebrew rules
Longrest: Lvl x Con Modifier in healed HP. Healkits can be used to provide 1 HD HP. Shortrest:Healkit and proficiency used to increase 1HD of HP. Falling Damge: Mess around and find out. Magic Item Recharge: 1 charge per longrest. Artificer can increase this rate with appropriate equipment. Dispel Magic: Can target items and temporarily turn them off 1d4 rnds. Silvery Barbs: NO Wall of force has AC10, hardness 30 and 60hp.
