About the adventure
This is a campaign designed for all experience levels using the Avatar Legends ruleset. The advent of science, the advancement of technology, and a deeper understanding of how the world works has brought great change to society in the world of Avatar. Questions like why some are born benders and other born without have long been answered, and that knowledge has been used to the advantage of some and the disadvantage of others. You and others like you will fight to rebalance the imbalance that has been created. To do this you will have to infiltrate high society and change it from within if you can.

About me
I'm a writer and a teacher, and I've been playing Dungeons and dragons for more than ten years, and most of that time has been as a GM for my friends. I've played a few systems (3.5, 5e, Mistborn, Planet Mercenary, Alien RPG, Avatar Legends) and just love the collaborative story telling of TTRPGs. As a GM my campaigns are usually very story focused, and tend toward the "epic fantasy" genre. As such I usually run long term campaigns, but I have done some shorter things as well and am more than willing to do shorter 1 or 2 session games. I believe I help make the game beginner friendly when appropriate, and I pay attention to the players for cues as to where they want to go and what they want to explore and do more. I use Discord primarily for digital games, though I've experimented a little with roll20 and playrole as well. I've recently begun integrating music and sound effects into my campaigns, and I'm working on adding more maps and visual aides as well. Many of the settings and stories I use are based on the books I write. Feel free to share the experiences with your friends, but keep in mind that the details are under copyright.

Creating your character
If you have access to the playbooks yourself you may create a character before the session. Otherwise, I have the character sheet templates on Demiplane and you will be able to easily create a character there. I'm always happy to help you prepare. We will be starting from level 1.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a Discord account in order to access the game, and a Demiplane account is helpful. A webcam is not required but a mic is absolutely necessary. If you wish to use a digital avatar for your character that is fine as well. You should try and familiarize yourself a little with the rules before coming, and have an idea of the kind of character you want to play (look through the playbooks for the kinds of characters). If you can make a character beforehand that is preferable, and I will be glad to help even before the session begins so that character creation doesn't have to cut into playtime. This is a d6 system, so if you want physical dice please prepare with that, otherwise, you will have access to digital dice.
What Aeremor brings to the table
This is entirely online and all the elements will be available online for you. I can share the online resources on demiplane and have all the expanded content for Avatar Legends.
Homebrew rules
Think about a sci-fi technology you think would exist once the bender nations advance and I will find a way to implement that technology by your design. One technology per player. It can be a small personal level technology (like communicators/cell phones) or a large one (like high speed space travel). Whatever is interesting to you can become a part of this future.

How Aeremor creates a safe table
I have a checklist of mental, physical, and emotional things that you will be asked to fill out. For each topic you will select "Hard pass" as something to keep entirely out of the game, "don't love it" as something to avoid if possible but is ok if it has to be there, and "no problem" for if you have no problems with the topic.
