About the adventure
This game is for fans of suspense and horror films -- especially those inspired by the Alien universe! Players are given secret specific agendas to achieve which may or may not align with the party's stated goals. Not only must you navigate the perils of deep space, you must also navigate the intrigues of the other members of the crew. No prior experience in RPGs required -- just your imagination!! This game is violent and there will be a body count. Not all of the players will make it out alive...

About me
Hello! I've been a DM/GM since I was a teenager. My game of choice is DnD, however, I also run Call of Cthulhu, Alien: RPG and others. I really enjoy the story-telling aspect of role-playing games. For me, GMing is about creating a compelling environment to challenge players -- it's not a competition. I'm just wrapping a 7 year long campaign cycle and looking to meet new players. Kicking off in 2026 will be two cycles of Curse of Strahd and a third with my pre-tested Homebrew Campaign Evershire which will carry players from 1st to 20th level. If there is enough interest, I will launch games for alternative systems -- check out a list of my faves below. Happy to learn something new for a committed player-base. Over the years I have spent literally thousands of dollars on games, tokens, rules, modules, maps, expansions and handouts -- all of which are housed on Roll 20. Benefit from my library of awesomeness for a truly immersive experience!! I prioritize fun and value the rule of cool -- so if you're looking for that type of environment, consider me as your next GM!

What to expect
Preparing for the session
Please make an account on Roll20 -- that's where we will play. It's worth watching some of the Alien films if you haven't seen them, but it's not a requirement.
What Graham Peddie brings to the table
Look forward to a fun-first game! The system is dark and brooding, but the game mechanics are light and quick with cool mechanics for stress and fear. The more afraid you are -- the more like your character is to mess up! You DO NOT have to have played Alien before. This is an intro one-shot. Be new! It will add to the fun. Rule of cool is dominant -- let's not let the rules get in the way of a cinematic adventure! This is a survival horror game which requires a little more role play than DnD, for example. Each character has a mission agenda which may or may not align with the other players' stated motives. Expect some light PvP competition. There will be many (many, many) character deaths. This is fundamental to the genre. If character loss is a deal-breaker, this may not be the game for you!

How Graham Peddie creates a safe table
Given that this is a one-shot, we probably won't do a session zero with the entire party, but I'm definitely willing and able to meet with individuals to walk them through their characters and answer any questions they may have. This is a HORROR game, so those who don't like blood, guts, aliens, xenomorphs, coarse language and violence should not consider this game. The objective here is two fold 1) scare the pants off you, 2) provide you with an evening of fun! But note the numerous content warnings below!
