About the adventure
Interested in Imperium Maledictum? Not sure where to start? Afraid to join a group without having some experience first? I've got what you need! This one shot will be composed of a single session that will go over the core mechanics of Imperium Maledictum, walk you through the character creation through Foundry, and discuss possible builds to see which one truly interests you. There will also be a sample combat to test out everything you've previously learned. The option for some pre-gen characters will also be available in case you're not sure of what to pick as well as answers regarding any questions you might have about the grim and dark lore of 40k.

About me
Going more than a decade strong in the hobby. Started with nothing more than a group of friends with a second-hand 3.5 player handbook and now I've got at least a dozen campaigns under my belt in all sorts of systems, from 5e to Dark Heresy and Delta Green. What I aim to bring is... - 1️⃣ A table where people can speak to one another casually and easily. Good vibes, good jokes, good times. - 2️⃣ Helping players spread their wings with their roleplay chops. I want to know your character's backstory, the people they care about and those they loathe in equal measure. Weaving together everything the players bring to the table is, I've found, the best way to create memorable moments. - 3️⃣ Challenging combat with stakes. I'll fully admit that I usually start off with kiddy gloves to measure how capable my players are, but once I know your limits I'll be having you ride the fine line between living and dying. If my rolls actually work out, that is... - 4️⃣ A space where you can come to me behind the scenes without worry. Creating your character
No need to create any characters. As a simple tutorial session roleplay will be kept to a minimum, but I will be more than happy to answer any questions regarding a possible character you may want to make in the future.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Webcam will not be necessary, but microphone is a must. Players will be provided with all the materials necessary to learn the rules and system. It's not necessary to read everything, but at least a rough understanding of the system is encouraged.
