About the adventure

This will be a game focused on exploration of the forest and hills around a town called Phandelin. Enjoy a classic adventure sandbox and learn how to play. The sessions are meant to be light and breezy, with newcomers welcome. All tools for character creation are provided in Foundry and we will be using the 2024 Player's Handbook, but you don't need a copy to play.

About me

I have been GMing for over 30 years. I regularly run full games at conventions and play online with my friends. I enjoy D&D, Forged in the Dark games and Pathfinder, among many others. I am also on the board of directors for Rising Phoenix Game Con which just celebrated it's 4th year (risingphoenixgamecon.com).

How Matt creates a safe table

We'll cover safety in Session 0. Typically this campaign doesn't involve any disturbing content beyond some cartoon level of violence, but we'll cover how to use an X card and help set proper expectations of play.
