About the adventure
Challenge the most infamous mega-dungeon... with a twist! Years ago, you and your fellow adventurers defeated the evil ghost sorcerer, Belcorra Haruvex, in her deadly dungeon beneath the Gauntlight. Not everyone survived and you lost some friends along the way, but you emerged heroes in the end and moved on with your lives. But when your lives finally came to an end, you found yourself back in Otari -- back when your adventures began. You still remember everything, but you are not exactly the same as you were back then. It appears that you have brought some of your strengths back with you along with a few stranger ones. Not only that, but things seem to be happening a little differently than you remember. Why have you been brought back to the past? Why do you have these powers? And why is so much happening differently than you remember? "Gauntlight" is a visit through the popular Abomination Vaults Adventure Path, but with an isekai twist! You'll be heading into the story with more power than the average beginning adventurer, but there will be fewer of you (party of three). Have you already played through Abomination Vaults before? Not a problem! Like the old Chrono Trigger feature, consider this your New Game +, where you are starting over with extra power and maybe a few things are different than before!

About me
Hi, I'm Leo! I've been doing games for over thirty years, and was GM for the vast majority of that time on account of there almost never being anyone else willing to run things. Over the decades, I've become accustomed to many different playstyles so I like to think that I'm pretty versatile. The most important thing, though, is that everyone is having fun and I do my best to ensure that the game is enjoyable for all involved. I spend entirely too much time gathering GM resources, so I'm bringing materials to the table like VTT licenses, animated maps, fitting music, and occasionally art if I can find the time to make it. I don't homebrew a lot, myself, but I'll always take requests under consideration. To me, the players are the main characters and I'm always looking for opportunities to help them shine. Nothing in the setting or NPC list should take up more attention as far as I'm concerned. Message me if you're interested in a game!

Creating your character
Character concepting may occur beforehand while Session 0 itself will be used to finalize character decisions and put together their mechanics in Foundry as well as go over the safety tools and everyone's expectations.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You'll need a Discord account and a decent Internet connection, mostly due to the fancy maps and effects. Everything else will be handled by Foundry.
What Leo brings to the table
I'll be supplying the Foundry VTT license and server along with the music and ambience from providers such as Michael Ghelfi, and a selection of premium modules from multiple sources including the Isekai Divine Blessings courtesy of DMReckless (https://startplaying.games/gm/dmreckless-that-isekai-guy-reviews).
Homebrew rules
Ancestry Paragon Free Archetype Keeley's Hero Point Rule: If you use a Hero Point to re-roll and the die result is less than 11, add 10 to the result. Basically, you can never roll lower than 11 when using a Hero Point. Eventually, Dual-Class. And, of course, Isekai Divine Blessings, courtesy of DMReckless (https://startplaying.games/gm/dmreckless-that-isekai-guy-reviews).
