About the adventure
Deep beneath the surface of the world lies the Underdark. It is a vast network of caverns where the light of the sun is a distant memory. In this alien landscape, bioluminescent fungi cast eerie glows on jagged stone and the silence is broken only by the whispers of things that hunt in the dark. You begin your journey as a prisoner of the drow, the cruel rulers of the deep. Stripped of your gear and your freedom, your first and only goal is simple. You must find a way home. However, a strange sickness is spreading through the tunnels. A creeping madness is taking hold of the creatures that live here, driving them to acts of senseless violence. Rumors of ancient demon lords walking the deep are no longer just stories told to frighten children. As you navigate the winding paths of the Underdark, you will have to manage your meager resources and decide who you can truly trust. Every shadow might hide a friend or a foe, and the line between sanity and survival is as thin as a spider’s web. This adventure is for those who want to inhabit a living world and see their choices ripple through the story. Whether you are new to adventuring or have walked these paths before, our focus is on your characters and the bonds they forge in the dark. We prioritize creative thinking and immersion, valuing the story we tell together above all else. If you enjoy atmospheric discovery and making decisions that truly matter, you will find a home at this table.

About me
Hail and Well Met! (That's the official greeting of the Forgotten Realms) I've been playing D&D since 1987. I've been DMing just as long, first with family and then friends. Started just before 2nd edition with Advanced Dungeons and Dragons, and have continued playing up through D&D 5.5e. I run mostly published adventures, but I enjoy adapting them for my players and seeing how far we can stretch them while still pursuing the main quest. My GM Style is probably more Rule of Cool than Rules as Written. I like to make sure characters can be heroic and players feel good about playing. I do not allow evil characters, because I've seen too many players use that as an excuse to be jerks and I don't want that at my table. I really focus on each player so you don't have to worry about being talked over or talked down to. I keep my games PG-13 with cut scene romances and relationships. It's a digital game not a dating app. I have always been in mixed-sex groups and I believe D&D and other RPGs should be a safe space for players and characters. I'm a strong ally for marginalized humans, and I'm always working to be better so I can make those around me better. You should feel safe and heard when playing a game, and I want to know right away if you feel differently. LGBTQIA+ friendly. BIPOC friendly.
