About the adventure
Three hundred years ago, the age of legends ended. The names Gojo, Sukuna, and Itadori faded into history, and with them, the era of overwhelming power. Since then, the world has known an uneasy peace. Cursed energy weakened. Special-grade threats vanished. Sorcerers came to believe the balance had finally been restored. But peace has a cost and time has a way of collecting it. In Jujutsu Kaisen: Kairos, you play as a new generation of sorcerers studying at Tokyo Jujutsu High, born into a world that believes catastrophe is a thing of the past. Yet as you train, compete against rival schools, and take on increasingly dangerous missions, strange signs begin to surface. Forgotten relics stir. Curses unlike any seen before emerge, shaped by modern fears: technology, collapsing cities, and humanity’s own creations. Behind the scenes, powerful figures move pieces into place. Ideological factions test the limits of jujutsu society. Old sins resurface, and the line between protector and weapon begins to blur. Every victory pushes the world further out of balance, and every choice you make leaves a mark that cannot be erased. This campaign blends high-intensity combat, school rivalries, investigation and mystery, and deep character-driven storytelling. Your actions matter. Relationships evolve. The world responds. And as the era begins to shift, you’ll be forced to confront a terrifying question: What happens when the very power meant to protect the world becomes the thing that breaks it? This is a story about legacy, responsibility, and the cost of being special. The clock is ticking. Welcome to Kairos.

About me
Hello TTRPG enthusiasts, jocks, nerds and all people alike, my name's Nunzi and it's a pleasure to get to know you all! I've been playing D&D 5E and a couple other systems for the past 5-6 years, I've taken the role of the eternal Dungeon Master around 1 year ago. I'm a very enthusiastic DM and love to try out new things. I'm Portuguese, so expect that the NPCs end up with a little bit of an accent - if you're expecting an hispanic accent, I can emmulate it but it's not my actual accent! I've slowly fallen in love with D&D, it made me try to frequent theater clubs and explore the creative side of being a nerd - I'm an engineer by the way. My players have been having a great time and I'm always eager to learn more from other people! I DM for two different systems: D&D 5E - Mostly homebrewed games in the world of One Piece, Isekai like games, Zombie apocalypse, Bloodborne and also some official modules: Curse of Strahd (my favourite). CyberpunkRED - Most of it is homebrewed, but I've been having a blast with the Edgerunners adventure module! I hope you consider me to be your DM and let's go explore new worlds together!

Creating your character
For character creation I like to emphasize a somewhat different way of doing it, but let's attack the basics first. The homebrew handbook that we'll be using will be given to you at the start of session 0. For stats, the method is quite simple. We'll use point buy but with 30 points instead of the usual 27.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players should have a: - Discord account and be willing to chat and join a discord group. - A working mic and hopefully a quiet place to speak, or you can use push to talk. - Stable internet - A free Roll20 account. - Webcam (Optional)
What Nunzi brings to the table
- Will be recycling some maps, but making sure to create some new ones too. Expect a healthy mixture of theater of the mind with strategic battle maps. - Completely homebrew system, class and Technique mechanics. Easy to understand. - Custom tokens for each of the player characters so that they can stand out from any other and to give that main character feel. - Private discord where you're free to discuss anything campaign based, together with some possible text roleplay during downtime (in between sessions). Leading to a more dynamic experience. - Always attempt to build the right atmosphere with the correct music, boss themes, battle songs and obviously will allow character to pick their own theme songs.
