About the adventure
Players take on the role of a truly evil character. They must come up with a backstory that details the crimes they have committed, why they are evil and finally, how/why they have been captured. The world of Telthaeris is one of wonder and delight, but it is not without its miscreants. Lands are swept with vast arrays of species and inhabitants all living in unison. But the players have other agendas. They have committed atrocities across the land and have since been apprehended by the King's men and take into custody. After being shackled with explosive collars, players must listen to the instructions of the King, and heed his word about a ritual rite that must be completed. If they succeed in keeping their wicked ways in check and completing the ritual, the King will pardon the players and grant them their freedom. The game has a focus on social intrigue and character development. Combat is less frequent but is dire when it occurs as the players will start at level 12, to fit with the theme of them committing evil deeds. Players will design their character fully at session 0 to come up with a strong party composition of their choice, design backstories including allies/rivals/enemies and even down to picking locations in the world for home towns and place of capture.

About me
Are you looking for a DM that will put the hours in to make a truly immersive D&D experience for you? Well look no further. I have been playing tabletop games for many years now, and have DM'd several campaigns and many, many one-shots. My profession has been teaching students for the last 6 years, so I particularly enjoy bringing new people into the D&D community. Letting new players bring their first character to life, fight their first horde of monsters, solve their way through their first puzzle and of course crawl their way through their first dungeon, has always been one of the most enjoyable parts of D&D, at least for me! D&D is all about telling great stories and having your players be immersed and wanting more from the world that a DM creates. This is what drives me to create the best campaign I can for my groups. If you want to check out all of the adventures I have to offer, check out this link: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1wLY_-dAEs69su77Y3ZDRSUY_Egeya4F5pS3j2AObt5I/edit?usp=sharing but if you have a particular module you would like to run, I am happy to purchase new source books! Voice acting, sound effects, animated visuals, and attention to detail all help to immerse my players in the D&D games they expect. Not to mention, I bring a lot of source material for players to create awesome new characters with. I have my players create their ideal character directly using DNDBeyond for official sourcebooks and then import them straight into FoundryVTT. But if you want a third party character from a homebrew source or somewhere else, I work directly with my players to create everything for them in Foundry, with as much automation as the system allows to make the game go as smoothly as possible! Drop me a message or hop into one of my upcoming games and let's play through an epic story together!

Creating your character
Players will create characters on DnDBeyond under a campaign I own. Content sharing is enabled so you will be able to use your own content that you own on the site. Session 0 will be used to get everyone on the same page with characters, artwork and backstories.

What DM Dan brings to the table
A fully modulated world in Foundry VTT with a fully homebrew setting/world/campaign that players can develop along with the GM. I have a huge array of tokens and artwork that I have purchased to use within my games, along with animations and sound effects to help your mind visualise the game unfolding. There is a large collection of books for you to create a character from using my content on DnDBeyond.
Homebrew rules
Drinking a potion can be used as a bonus action, full action gets a full heal and its an action to pour a healing potion into someone's mouth. "Called Shots" - Aiming for a specific part of an enemy (arm/leg) gives them a +2 AC, but if your attack lands it can cause injuries to enemies. "Critical Crits" - When you roll a crit, once per turn you may roll on a d100 table to see what other effects you may cause! Flanking options - If an enemy is flanked (you to the front and an ally behind them) you both gain advantage. This can not "conga line". Any other rules I use will be explained in session 0.

How DM Dan creates a safe table
Breaks can be used if players wish. Hard lines can be used for players that are uncomfortable with anything in a game. I value all feedback! If you want something changed about the way I DM, I am more than open to feedback from all players. This is your game I hope to make fun for all.
