About the adventure
Good Society is made for people who adore Jane Austen novels, Bridgerton, historical fiction and romance, high society intrigue, and more! If you've ever watched Bridgerton and wondered what you would do if you lived in the 1800s then this is the game for you. We will be playing with DnD 5e rules for most of the actual gameplay (i.e. spell casting, classes, combat, etc...) but within the framework of Good Society. If you've watched A Court of Fey And Flowers on Dimension20, you understand the vibe. Our game will embrace the high society intrigue through a classic locked door murder mystery. If you enjoy Columbo, Knives Out, Bridgerton, The Bronte Sisters, Jane Austen, or Sherlock Holmes you'll love this game. We will have a free session 0 where we will go into depth. We will co-create the world, it's npcs, and your characters. Good Society is a highly collaborative game, and co-creating the setting is a fundamental part of it. Check this game out if you love roleplaying, historical fiction, heart pounding drama, thrilling intrigue, and swoonworthy romance. I look forward to playing with y'all!

About me
Howdy! My name is Ellie. I have been playing and DMing DND 5e and a host of other systems (such as Masks, Monster of the Week, Good Society, and have even made my own TTRPG system) for almost 10 years. I would love to take my skill set and use it to host even more games. DMing is super fun for me, and I love coming up with new modules and story ideas to have a good time with players foiling my plans every step of the way. I am part of the LGBT community, and when I host games you can be sure that it is a safe space for any queer players. I also do not tolerate racism, sexism, or any other hateful content or speech at my tables. I aim to make my games fun and safe for all involved. On this note, I utilize the X card so that players know they can take a time out any time if needed to discuss how to proceed if they are uncomfortable with a current situation in game. I am open to almost any setting or system that you want to try. I am a flexible, highly collaborative DM who plays for the love of the game. Please feel free to message me any specific questions on discord.

Creating your character
Come to session 0 with a list of your favorite character ideas. We will be creating our characters together at session 0.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
DM me after signing up for the Roll20 & Discord server link. All necessary prep work will be located in the Discord server, and I'm happy to chat one-on-one with people to help with any questions or concerns before session 0 :)
What Ellie brings to the table
We will use roll20 and discord to do our sessions! I am a GM who loves heavy roleplay. I try to offer something for everyone, so one of the things I ask in session 0 is to tell me what you like the most about playing TTRPGS. I love involving player characters in the world, and I am willing to work with you on tying your characters into the plot and world building. I love a player driven game, but I am open to creating a more structured game. I am flexible, and will work with players to make a game that everyone enjoys.

How Ellie creates a safe table
We will be using the x card! In order to utilize the x card, simply say the phrase "x card". During session 0 we will go over table norms so we can all be on the same page. I do not tolerate bigotry at my table. Please be aware that this game involves some possibly heavy subjects such as grief and death. I try to handle every topic with care. That being said, this game is not going to be an edgy, grim dark pain fest. I would say it is rated PG-13.
