About the adventure
The year is 2003. The mortals continue their newest arms race only this time they are calling it a War on Terrorism. Guess nobody checked to see how the War on Poverty or the War on Drugs was going before launching another one. It matters not to us. Meanwhile on our side of the night, the mortals’ Y2K wackiness had nothing on our “the End is Nigh” nuts. Nothing happened at the turn of the millennia, the sun kept setting, the nights kept on coming, and we all just kept drinking. It is a good time to be a vampire in Vancouver, British Columbia. Canada is turning its eyes to Asia and their largest Pacific city benefits from investment and new food, err, that is population increases. Prince Siegfried rules firmly and fairly; his independent princehood attracts many but few can thrive. You will.

About me
Hello, my name is Shannon (ve/ver/he/him/they/them). I am ace, queer, Appalachian, and a Novo Collegian. As a farmer, former union organizer, and current animal welfare volunteer coordinator, my "day jobs" focus on sustainable agriculture, volunteer human resources, and animal welfare. I process the intensity and complexity of real-life societal trauma and human resilience by writing high-intrigue modern horror chronicles (with a dash of adventure and comedy). This creative work completes my exploration of human behavior, fear, and power dynamics, and is deeply grounded in my practical understanding as a social worker and organizer.

What Shannon Michael, Storyteller brings to the table
I use audio to assist me in setting mood at the beginning of session as well as special effects. I utilize guest actors on occasion to allow the players to interact with an NPC voiced by someone other than me. Rule of Cool and the Golden Rule all the way.
