About the adventure
In Moonshine (A system I've written), you inhabit a character living the city life in the late 1920s. This world is much like the American cities of the time, with prohibition, corruption, intrigue, and more. The biggest difference between our world and the world of Moonshine is that there are a small number of people with psychic abilities. They are often quite minor, and very rare. Most people don’t believe in it, and a talented charlatan can fake it. The feds do believe in it, and if a psychic starts to make too much noise, they might just disappear. Note: In our real history, the 1920s were a time wrought with bigotry. In Moonshine, you can play a version of the 1920s without this painful aspect of history. Each one shot is different, but promises mystery, intrigue, and roaring 20s drama!

About me
First and foremost, my table is a place of kindness and inclusion. There is absolutely no room for bigotry of any kind at my table. Zero tolerance. I am a professional board game designer with a love for TTRPGs. I use my experience in board game design to craft unique experiences, both in combat design, but also in adventure design itself. Aside from d&d, I play lots of board games, do illustrations, and write. I've recently been getting into illustrating battlemaps, so my games will be featuring lots of hand drawn maps.

Creating your character
We will go over character creation at the start of the one-shot and make characters together. The system is quite light, and making characters should take no more than 30 minutes and will be done at the same time as the rules teach.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a mic, a discord account, and a roll20 account. It would be useful to have an idea of what type of a character you'd like to play in this dark 1920s Chicago. Your character needs to owe a favor to the mob, so think about what that might be.

How Ben Goldman creates a safe table
I will teach the system, we will make characters and then play the One-shot. The game is a living document, so I'd be more than happy to hear any thoughts you had about the game or how it was run!
