About the adventure

There is always the need for couriers in the Radiant Citadel. With over a dozen cities connected to the citadel, each with their own unique resources, trade was always bustling. She had been delivering things since she was a child. She knew the rounds of the citadel well and the way to the bustling places of business of the connected cities. She had a delivery of Zungoon's seafood to deliver. The bag of holding rested at his waist, a must when acting as a courier for catering. There March of Vice in Zinda was a huge party and often there was call for as varied food as possible. It was supposed to be simple to deliver the food to the group, get the rest of the payment, move on. The shortcut was just supposed to save time. Not get her accused of murder. --- The Radiant Citadel is an anthology of adventures between levels 1 to 14. There is the hub city of the citadel connected to 15 different cities with their own cultures and identity. As your characters enjoy the sights and festivities of each world, you'll get to know more about the land you're in, and what your characters would like to make of their lives in such a place. Its also a game welcoming to new places since each world can act as a stand alone adventure, allowing for ease of joining in, or even trying out a new character if you find you want to try one out for a level or two.

About me

Dungeon and Dragons and TTRPGs have been a staple of my life since I was in the single digits. I've had experience in all sorts of systems, from good old DnD to Shadow Run to Dread. If its a game system, chances are I've played it at least once, but of course I have the systems I'm most familiar with. Fantasy, sci fi, something more realistic, and even the occasional horror, I hope to run a variety of games for people. I love creativity and I love the great stories that come out of several people's ideas mixing together. Rules and modules are guidelines, but what matters is everyone is having fun. While I prefer games that are more roleplay heavy, combats and puzzles are certainly fun as well.

Character creation

Creating your character

Characters will start at level 1. People will be free to make their characters on their own on the roll20, but we will be discussing character creation in a free session zero for those who want help or to discuss ideas. Stats will be decided by rolling three sets and selecting the set that best fits your character. There is an option for point buy if you find it easier or if your luck is just that absolutely garbage. Any and all official books are accepted and homebrew can be done under review and approval.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

You will need a Discord account, a roll20 account, and a microphone. You will be joining a Discord server for ease of communication.

What Sabre G brings to the table

I will be providing players with access to my books in roll20 and how to edit in from books that are not in the roll20 compendium. I bring my experience and expertise with Dungeons and Dragons. If there is something you want to make of your character and not sure how to achieve it, I'm fairly good at figuring out how to do it. I have music for my games and voices will be attempted, but not guaranteed. My DM style is not super crunchy. While I try to make combat fun and engaging, but I'm not looking to make it super deadly. Rule of Cool is usually better than RAW. If someone can think of a clever idea to get out of combat and the rolls favor you, I'm willing to go along with it. I try to allow a lot of freedom with the story and the more backstory you give me, the more I try to figure out how to incorporate it. And if you don't really know how to do an indepth backstory, I'm more than happy to help you figure out the story you want to tell with your character in the present.

Homebrew rules

I have a list of homebrew rules on the Discord, but there's nothing major beyond what I call triage, an option when your character faces death. Let's be fair, you're paying me to play a game, and it would suck if your character dies one hour into a session and there's no revivify. Triage means the party goes on a long rest to stabilize your critical character and they will be revived, though with some semi-permanent effect that needs a side quest to fix it. Never the major thing for the character, we're not taking an ranger's hand, but we may make him deaf in one ear so hearing perception has disadvantage.

Safety

How Sabre G creates a safe table

There is a consent form and a session zero. Players are also always free to come talk to me if they're having a problem. If players join after session zero, I make sure to they still do the consent form and ask about anything that might make them uncomfortable.
