About the adventure
It is the year of our Emperor 41,000, the Imperium of Man stretches throughout the known galaxy... Thru the glory of our God-Emperor, mankind has achieved such heights of achievements that none can contest our prominence within the fate of the universe! Yet, even in this period of time, in which mankind stands upon the pinnacles of indomitable strength, there are those who still oppose the will of the Empire: Xenos. Traitors. Worshippers of Chaos. The Imperium of Man shall obliterate these threats with utmost prejudice.. Although cleansing an entire planet with holy flames may be suitable response, in these times, it is often best dealt with a subtle hand, routing out corruption without setting to the torch entire worlds. Hence, various organizations within the Imperium, turn to the common citizens of the Empire, to tap into undemonstrated and unproven potential. Sure, most of these "recruits" suffer horrible tragedies and eventually deaths, but there are those who have managed to stay the hand of fate and save a great many worlds. You are one of these recruits!

About me
Storytelling has always been a passion of mine. Caught within the stirrings of a narrative, one can lose themselves and be spirited away to worlds beyond one's own imagination. Within my 20+ years of engaging TTRPGs I have had the pleasure and enjoyment of being audience to the captivating stories told by my fellow players. It is of little surprise that it is for that very reason that I have come to love being a GM. As a GM I am patient with players; both newcomers and the experienced. I always do my best to provide as much support to the players as I am able. It is a means to facilitate their needs and requirments making them as comfortable as possible to enjoy the gaming experience. Being hospitable breeds comfort and comfort is a key component to an enjoyable evening enagaging a TTRPG. I enagage the players with a means to immerse them within the scene. This will often be done via: emphasizing the tone of the scene with vivid depictions, impersonating the various NPCs which players encounter, delving into the setting that the players may be better acquainted, etc. Thus, if you'd like to sit at my table for an immersive experience please let me know.

•Characters and Patrons shall be created during session 0. Although, proactive players may create characters prior (with GM approval) establishing them into the lore afterwards.

•Mic is required. •Webcam is preferred, although not required. •An adventurous desire to aid in the conquest against enemies of the Imperium! Knowledge of the rules and lore isn't required, but, it may add to the experience as your explore WH40K.

How justjarn creates a safe table
Warhammer 40K is a grim dark setting of which the Imperium of Man is an overtly exaggerated facist regime, which is willing to sacrifice all in order to maintain control. As such, the player's comfort shall be taken into high consideration as we progress within the story. We shall use safety tools in order to gauge player reactions as well as to inspire a comfortable setting. Stars and Wishes shall always be offered at closing of a session as it'd be best to inspire a positive vibe. We shall be using Discord for communication and Foundry for gameplay. No experience required. There will be a heavy emphasis on role-play, as we delve into the depths of a Imperium Maledictum adventure. As noted above, WH40K is a dark fantasy setting which presents oppurtunities for dark storytelling. If ever these story beats shall be presented during gameplay, content warnings shall be provided. In this fashion the table may decide to either avoid the beat all together or continue cautiously. Session 0 will cover introductions, expectations, safety tools, a shallow dive into the setting, patron creation as well as character creation. Session 0 for all players shall be free
