About me
I'm ready to roll some dice, so let's get a party together and make a collaborative story! I'm Keenan Bothma, I've been DMing for the past 10 years and I absolutely love game design, creative writing and nerds doing nerd stuff. It all started as a teen, hopelessly obsessed with D&D, begging friends to play with me. Of course, no one else would take up the mantle of DMing, so I gave it a try and discovered a lifelong hobby along the way.

Creating your character
You will be using pre-gen characters for this oneshot which can be found on the discord server once you sign-up for the game. The pre-gens have been maticulously crafted to fit the cozy, cutesy vibe of the game... and there are 9 to choose from, ranging from every class from the core rulebook, like: "Whiskers" the Wildborne Katari Warrior A feisty fella with a nose for trouble! "Hopper" the Seaborne Ribbet Ranger Has legs for days and is literally the best fisherman! "Half-Pint" and "Lucky" the Wanderborne Halfling Rogues A michievous duo with two minds and one brain cell between them! "Ewelia" the Frostborne Ramtop Wizard The hotheaded. hardheaded, designated festival fireworks officer! "Forest" the Reborne Clank Druid All bark and sometimes bite. A true friend of nature! "Shelly" the Hearthborne Galapa Guardian Recklessly care-free and a welcoming shellter for all! "Fae" the Highborne Faerie Bard A pocket-sized social butterfly! "Shortcake" the Orderborne Dwarf Seraph A witch of tricks and treats with strong hands that make soft dough! and "Bearry" the Loreborne Grizzly Folk Saucier? An avid read of cookbooks who is a SAUCIER - not a SORCERER!

What Keenan Bothma brings to the table
Ambience, humor, visual aids, pre-gen characters, game tutorials and above all else: GOOD VIBES!
Homebrew rules
HOMEBREW - Tag Team Hope Share When initiating Tag Team Actions, players can choose how to distribute the 3 Hope cost between them. Plus, there are no 'per session' restrictions on Tag Team Actions. (I love Tag Team Actions and I want to encourage their use as often as possible!) BEAST FEAST -Making a Feast!- During downtime, players can’t choose downtime moves to clear Stress, clear Hit Points, or gain Hope. Instead, they have a new downtime move: Make a Feast. When they choose this move, the PCs can contribute any ingredients they’re carrying to the party’s collective meal and gain the benefits of the resulting feast. The PCs who choose to Make a Feast during downtime prepare the food together. They should collaborate to decide which ingredients they’re using, then erase those ingredients from their inventory. Then they come up with a name and description for the dish and record it in their party’s cookbook.

How Keenan Bothma creates a safe table
-PHASE 0- At the start of the oneshot we will run through a brief tutorial of Daggerheart, and go over everyone's lines and veils, and I will answer any questions you may have about the oneshot. -What are LINES and VEILS?- LINES are topics that you do not want to hear or see in the game. VEILS are topics that you can tolerate being foreshadowed or hinted at but not fully realized in the game. -DEBRIEFING- After every session I like to take at least 15 minutes to chat with my players if they wish to stick around and just talk or give feedback or just joke around. -BREAKS- If you wish to take a 5-10 minute break during gametime you are welcome to ask without any judgement from myself or the other players. Everyone needs a bathroom break or a glass of water, or to answer the phone or the door, just please try to keep it brief!
