About the adventure
This campaign is for those who have and haven't played D&D before! Ideally the game will go from levels 1-12, depending on if people wish to progress past the original end point for this campaign, and make your way through this wonderful campaign setting! (With some minor additions and changes). I will also do my best to tie in peoples backgrounds as best I can for the setting once Session 0's are under way. I hope all who join enjoy their time in this story we will tell together!

About me
I started playing D&D with 3.5, and though it was short, it got me hooked into becoming a GM once 5e had been released. Since then I have been GM-ing and playing in games. I've found working with players the most rewarding for the stories we tell together, and trying to make sure all of my players are comfortable and enjoying the story being told. Creating your character
A Session 0 will take place, where I will walk each player through creation for level 1. Rolling stats at the table, as well as; Ancestry, Background, and Class. I like to change Race/Species to Ancestry so that players new or old can have an easy ABC to memorise. In terms of books, I will primarily be using the 2024 ruleset, with some 2014 rules being used in place. But all core/supplement books are welcome to be discussed if players wish to play something specific.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need to join the Discord provided to them for games, Foundry access will be done during Session 0 for Character Creation, where each player can send me a password for their login. Outside of that, players only ever need to join a VC and a link!
What Starclad brings to the table
When it comes to what I provide to players, I do voices and utilise my skills as an audio engineer to provide ever changing and immersive music for players whether it be ambient or combat. I do embrace the Rule of Cool, but I won't allow for players to try and abuse that rule. I do reward role-play focused players as well for their actions. Along with addition ways to gain boons or items; such solving mysteries, like cyphers, placed in the world (usually in the style of a puzzle box).

How Starclad creates a safe table
I have in Foundry "X Cards" that players can use anonymously to move on from potentially triggering or upsetting storytelling aspects, as well as consent forms for players to fill in during Session 0 so that I can see if there are any aspects of the story that would require modifying.
