About the adventure
Enter the Mists and explore the grimdark world of Barovia, home of Count Stradh von Zarovich. Explore the intrigues and mechanisms of an ancient land, long under the sway of dark powers. Survive the horrors of cursed villages and harrowed citizens. Will you suceed in escaping, will you stay and fight for the freedom of the land, or will you die trying? Curse of Stradh is set in a roughly Bavarian landscape populated by creatures both sinister and sweet. It's a gloomy sandbox setting where player agency is first and foremost. Fight battles, solve puzzles, and most of all, try to survive the Mists of Barovia.

About me
Hello, all! I have 20 years of live action role play (LARP) experience as both a player and a storyteller. I've got years of experience incorporating diverse characters into a cooperative story experience. I started playing 5e during the lockdown and instantly became obsessed. It wasn't long before I branched out into dungeon mastering. I'm currently test-playing my homebrew world loosely set in Faerun, and will set a campaign there on request. I've begun running one-shots at conventions in the PNW, and it's always a delight to bring random people together for a game. My table is a safe, queer-friendly space. This is non-negotiable.

Creating your character
Session 0 will be free, and for going over house rules, characters, getting to know you, and triggers. Characters start at 2nd level. Stats can be standard array or rolled on the Roll20 platform. 2 rolls, take the highest if rolled. Characters will be created in Roll20. No evil characters. Neutral is fine. All players will be expected to bring a certain level of enlightened self-interest to their characters, for group cohesion.
