About the adventure
The infernal contracts of Hell were upended with the death of Queen Ileosa of the mighty city Korvosa. But those from the Outer Planes work on timescales much longer than that of mere mortals. And as the moves and shakers of the dark realm patiently start to rebuild what they lost, the phantasmal echoes of their handiwork begin to haunt the city once again. ā You - an adventurer of some repute - have been invited to be a guest of the current sitting queen Cressida Kroft. She is putting together a team to get to the bottom of the alarming sightings of the former ruler, and to put to rest rumors of her return - or worse, undeath. The specter seems to be stalking her old places of power in the city from her reign of terror. But why is she reappearing now? ā Dive into the dark past to protect the present, with a city on the edge of panic, and the games of devils afoot. ā What motivates your character to help? Altruism? A need to prove yourself? External pressure? Explore your character's relationship with the city, and find out where their story goes next. ā The campaign is higher level, starting at level 11, so some experience is recommended but not required. If you're feeling like just jumping into the deep end, come on! ā Session 0 to hammer out backstories and ties into the adventure is always free!

Creating your character
Characters will be created at Level 11. Each of you should have a reason to be taking jobs in and around the Varisian city of Korvosa, and some way to have caught the ear of the current queen. She will be calling upon you based on your history, hoping you can solve the problem of the former dead Queen Ileosa haunting the streets. I use the Free Archetype rule and allow all Common and Uncommon options from published Pathfinder 2e sources, as well as all Ancestries, Heritages, and Classes. I try to give as much leeway as possible for you to play the character you want to play!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a microphone and a reliable internet connection and web browser. It will be very helpful to be familiar with the rules of Pathfinder 2e, as this is a high-level adventure. We can go through the character creation process together.
What Kaeden brings to the table
I will be providing a private Discord server and a private Foundry VTT instance for just your game. Foundry does require a moderate PC, but anything from the last 5-6 years should be fine, and it runs in your web browser. It does not require any software purchases.

How Kaeden creates a safe table
We will discuss safety tools in Session 0. But my dms are open at any time for any reason. If something in-game is making you uncomfortable, please let me know. We can take a pause, reframe the moment to avoid any triggers, and continue with the story as normal. This is fantasy, and should be an escape from our trauma.
