About the adventure

SESSION 0 IS FREE! The Barebones Pitch: -------------------- The rustic, peaceful village of Elmore sits atop the Plover Caves, a labyrinthine system of caverns full of dangerous and delectable creatures. When the powerful magic keeping the villagers safe begins to fail, the bravest among them must descend into the caves to save the day. In a Beast Feast campaign, you’ll play everyday heroes diving into the Plover Caves to reignite the magic lure that lies in its depths—and cook up delicious meals. Welcome to a culinary world of zoophagous delight, where the beasts you fight become the food you eat! -------------------- Using the Daggerheart System, we will design characters who live within Elmore itself when the powerful spell known as "The Lure" fails in it's job to keep monsters away from Elmore. If you are looking for inspiration on characters for this campaign, the touchstones are Delicious in Dungeon, Monster Hunter and One Piece. The Plover Caves have never been truly explored all that is known about them is their vast size and plethora of various monsters within. Expect varied environments and monsters alike. This is intended to be a lighthearted campaign, serious moments will of course happen but do expect a bit of silliness also! I look forward to seeing what kind of character you come up with!

About me

Welcome! Pull up a chair, a table or perhaps the entire tavern! I have been a GM for around 7 years, I started playing TTRPGs with GURPS of all things when I was 19. Before then I had mainly been roleplaying through forums and various chatrooms but always with a keen interest in D&D as an idea. My first foray into being a GM was through the Fantasy Flight's Star Wars system, it's narrative first approach took a lot of the pressure off me to remember every single rule going. Eventually transitioning over to 5th edition where I have since been having a blast running. I love to run the best game that I possibly can, you want something combat focused? Here is danger by the bucketload! Perhaps you would rather more roleplay focused play? We got you covered! How about a rampaging romp through a goblin town while being chased by a herd of Were-Alpacas? I don't know that sounds like more than we can handle, but I am game! 😊 Beginner Friendly 😊 Enthusiastic! Enthusiastic! Enthusiastic! 😊 Determined to create a safe space to play for all! 😊 Owch I hate taking pictures of myself... 😊 Story Focused Campaigns

Character creation

Creating your character

During Session 0 I will give a more detailed overview of the campaign framework and discuss your characters with you, if you have a rough idea of an archetype you want to play. i.e "Stoic Defender", "Graceful Archer" Etc. That is no issue however full fleshing out of characters will be done within session 0 and the week leading up to session 1 if you feel you need a bit more time to cook!

At the end of each session I open the floor to the players to ask any questions about the campaign or get anything they need to off their chest about what happened in the session in a civilized discussion. I also have an open door policy for taking breaks from the session if you need to step away for a moment feel free, my Discord also has a similar policy. I am available more often than not on Discord and any of my players are free to reach out to me with any concerns or questions they have.
