About the adventure
The traitor slouches before you, breathing heavy and ragged. His glare is venomous, filling you with dread. Is he to blame for the darkness that plagues Greenrest? Or has something possessed him against his will? Perhaps it doesn't matter; now, he is the only thing standing between you—the kingdom's savior—and peace for your home. - The Bane of Greenrest is a level 1-5 D&D 5e campaign intended to teach beginners the basics of the system. It's my goal not only to teach you how D&D 5e works, but to show you how fun it can be! In this original campaign, you play as a denizen of Greenrest, a heavily forested kingdom full of animal-like humanoids. When strange disasters begin to strike villages, you are among the few who can defend the land, investigate the danger, and save your home. Session 0 is free!

About me
Hey, there! My name is Tess (they/she) and I've been been a Game Master for about nine years as of 2025! I love to run roleplay-heavy, narrative-focused games that are fun for players both new and experienced. I value player safety and enjoyment above all. To me, being a GM is about being my players' biggest fan. I don't believe in adversarial GMing; I'm there to make you guys feel awesome! I want to balance challenge and fun in a way that is rewarding for the entire table. Though system rules are important frameworks for running games, the occasional Rule of Cool makes experiences much more memorable. I can't wait to adventure with you!
