About the adventure
Beyond the mists of the Forgotten Realms, hidden from the eyes of kings and conquerors, lies Fandlemeer—a town veiled in secrecy, its people living in quiet exile. Yet shadows stir. The ancient castle, once a beacon of pride, now groans beneath the iron grip of the demon Rufus Del Armand, whose hordes of the undead spill through its cursed halls. Here lies your call to glory. Dare to enter the castle’s blackened gates. Carve your way through dungeons crawling with fiends. Seize relics of untold power and treasure whispered of in legend. Then return to Fandlemeer, where merchants, mystics, and townsfolk await to aid your rise. Every battle hones your blade. Every victory fuels your legend. Level up, grow in might, and write your name into the chronicles of heroes. This is no simple quest—this is destiny.

About me
My name’s Paul, though at the table I’m best known as Thee Silvery Bard—a playful nod to the 5e spell Silvery Barbs. The name embodies my style: bold, imaginative, and guided by the Rule of Cool. My mission is simple: to create unforgettable, collaborative stories where every player shines. Performance has been in my blood since childhood. I’ve worked as a musician, a stand-up comic, and a teacher—but nothing has been as fulfilling as stepping into the role of Game Master. Over the years, I’ve performed for the BBC in the UK and NBC in America, earned awards, and produced shows that left audiences captivated. Whether it’s celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Dungeons & Dragons or exploring a hidden indie gem unearthed from the shelves of London’s legendary Orc’s Nest, I bring the same promise: a gaming experience that is brilliantly creative, deeply kind, and endlessly entertaining.

How Thee Silvery Bard creates a safe table
Safety at the Table Before we begin, I’ll share a simple Lines & Veils document and we’ll hold a Session 0 to talk about boundaries, expectations, and character backstories. We’ll use X, N, & O tools digitally (via Discord messages or chat) to make sure everyone’s comfortable during play. After each session, I do a quick aftercare check-in — because the point is to leave the table excited, not drained.
