About the adventure

Recover lost artifacts. Unravel the mystery. Decide who deserves the power. A collection of powerful magical items has been stolen, and dangerous artifacts have vanished into the world. You’ve been hired to recover them, but nothing about this job is simple. As you chase the trail across Faerûn, you’ll uncover dark secrets and a web of questions: Why was this forgotten college really targeted? Why does your employer seem more afraid than angry? And who, really, are the right hands to have these curiosities? This is a story-rich campaign blending mystery, tension, whimsy, and moral ambiguity. Expect immersive roleplay, faction intrigue, arcane oddities, and moments where your choices truly matter. Your actions will shape the world, the fate of the artifacts, and the legacy your character leaves behind. After all, finders keepers... right? This campaign begins small (a theft, a few strange relics here and there) but the deeper you go, the wider the world opens. The road to level 20 leads through choices that change the world. Whether you're here for drama, heroism, chaos, or comedy, your character will shape the story. Character creation

Creating your character

You’ll be invited to our Discord upon signup to meet your party, ask questions, and prepare. We’ll create characters together in a free Session 0, covering optional rules and light backstory. Doing this as a group is encouraged for a cohesive party, but not required. All official 2024 content (plus some UA) is allowed; older material is fine if adapted to 2024. Use point buy or roll, whatever you prefer!

Don’t worry if you’ve missed the first sessions! This is a long campaign and the story is just starting to unfold, we're not even out of the prologue! There’s still plenty of room to make your mark. New characters are worked into the story with care, and I’ll help get you up to speed in a way that feels natural and exciting. You won’t be dropped into the deep end, just come jump in!

All you need is: • A laptop or desktop computer • A web browser • Discord • Microphone A pre-prepared character on DnD Beyond can be imported but starting from scratch is completely fine!

Homebrew rules

We have a few little homebrew rules: - Intimidation checks can alternatively be made with strength instead of using charisma (charmisa still available). Scary barbarians! - Crit fail rules. If you roll a 1 to attack, something bad may happen! This goes for npc's and monsters as well! - Flanking, specifically a variant that grants +2 to attack rolls for the flanking members. - Stealth, insight, perception and investigation ability checks are made blind (you can't see the result) so the dice don't give meta knowledge. If you don't notice any traps, you won't know if it was because you rolled a 1, or because there actually aren't any, just like your character!
