About the adventure
Ever wanted to play D&D but didn't know where to begin? This game is for you! Join other new players in learning Dungeons and Dragons! Pick a character, meet a client at the local tavern, and - as a team - explore ancient ruins full of monsters, danger and treasure! Discover the original world of Mundus, a land of swashbuckling adventure just entering it's age of Sail and Airships - with a slightly more J-RPG or anime vibe than most D&D games. FOR THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER: All proceeds will go to the charity Feeding America, and SP.G will match the amount! Every $15 seat will send $30 to Feeding America - and provide 300 meals to people who need them!

About me
Championing indie RPGs since at least 2004! I've been doing tabletop since I could roll a die, and I'm here to run dramatic, character-driven campaigns - particularly anime inspired games.

Creating your character
Talia E. will provide pre-made character sheets for you to choose from after you sign up or at the start of the game.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need access to a computer with a large screen to use Roll20; a laptop is fine, but an iPad probably won't be big enough. A microphone for voice chat is also mandatory. A webcam is optional; I don't usually, but can, do face chat.
What Talia E. B. brings to the table
I will be offering a soundtrack, maps and tokens, premade characters, and access to my Roll20 Compendium of D&D books - as well as voice chat through a Discord channel. I'm generally willing to roll with clever ideas, and will work with you to make interesting characters that fit in the setting. Do try to come ready to learn the rules and do some simple arithmetic - I can't calculate all of your rolls and it's not fair to ask that of a GM.

Safety
How Talia E. B. creates a safe table
We will have a half-hour break after an hour of play for stretching, eating, drinking, and using the bathroom. I'll still be around to chat.
