About the adventure
Magic has been outlawed in the city of Dal Haran. But sorcerery cares nothing for the laws of mortals. Sorcery has burgeoned in the princess of the kingdom. You will play as those invested in her safe escape from the city so that she can learn to control these terrifying new powers within her. But scheming nobles, angry rebels, and dark powers seek her ruin. Will you be able to stop them, and perhaps bring the kingdom out of this dark age?

About me
I've been playing D&D for 10 years, and DMing for 7! I've been a professional DM for middle-schoolers and their families, and run games for me and my friends outside of StartPlaying. I think roleplaying games are a great way to learn about yourself, build a community, increase social skills, and have fun! All are welcome at my table! I have experience running D&D Fifth Edition, and have played Monster of the Week and Avanced D&D as well. My favorite part of the game is worldbuilding, followed by roleplaying.

Creating your character
Players can ask me for a pre-made character sheet before the first session, or can make their own. If a player wants material to play a class or subclass they do not have access to I will provide it. For stats we will roll each, rolling 4d6, dropping the lowest, and rerolling ones. Characters will start at level 3. We will create characters during the session 0 and outside of session time before session 1.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players should have a Discord account and a Roll20 account. We will use Discord for audio and video, as well as game management outside of session time. We will use Roll20 for combats when they arrive.
What Llewyn brings to the table
I provide fast-paced combat, detailed world building, and silly voices! I also give players a large say in worldbuilding as it pertains to their character. If you want to be part of a guild, noble house, or some other organization, you can be!
Homebrew rules
I use the flanking optional rule for combats. I also allow players to make a free action to use a skill they are proficient with in combat, rather than it taking a full action.
