About the adventure

When an ancient relic known as the Shattered Compass is found among the wreckage of a doomed voyage, the seas stir once more. Pirates whisper that it points to a god’s grave beneath the waves — a treasure beyond imagination, and a curse that has ended empires. From your first desperate storm-tossed night to the day your sails are known across the horizon, you will chart your own legend: Build a ship and a crew loyal (or foolish) enough to follow you. Hunt rival captains and navigate the treacherous politics of pirate isles. Face ancient things that move beneath the ocean’s black mirror. Every choice echoes across the sea — will you become a hero, a tyrant, or something that should never have left the depths? The Shattered Compass blends exploration, moral choice, and high adventure into a single cinematic campaign. It’s a tale of freedom, temptation, and the heavy price of destiny on the open ocean — where the line between myth and nightmare begins to blur. Command your own ship and crew. Engage in naval warfare, exploration, and moral dilemmas. Discover unique magic, relics, and allies across an evolving oceanic world. Rich narrative choices with consequences that reshape the seas.

About me

Hello everyone! Greetings from Greece! I've been delving into the world of roleplaying games for over 15 years now, with around 10 years of experience as a Game Master. While my heart remains true to the timeless allure of DnD 3.5 edition, I've also developed a fondness for running Cthulhu, Savage Worlds, and I'm always eager to explore new systems. My passion lies in fostering immersive roleplay, orchestrating epic battles, and crafting captivating adventures that leave players on the edge of their seats. As a business owner, I cherish the flexibility of my schedule, allowing me to delve into professional gameplay experiences for the sheer joy of it, while seeking players who are equally devoted to character development and the intricate tales that unfold. Beyond the gaming realm, I find solace in horseback riding, and I've also found myself drawn to the world of arts, wearing the hats of both a singer and an occasional actor. Initially, my journey into acting was motivated by a desire to enhance my skills as a Dungeon Master. However, my profound love for the arts, including playing the piano and professional singing, has led me to embrace the world of theater, where I've actively participated in numerous productions. Looking forward to connecting with fellow enthusiasts and weaving unforgettable stories together!

Character creation

Creating your character

Start at Level 3 — survivors of shipwreck, mutineers, exiled sailors, or coastal wanderers drawn to the sea’s call. We’ll build your character’s past and motives together during Session Zero, ensuring your story feels anchored in the campaign world. Ability Scores: Roll for stats (4d6 drop lowest, arrange freely). Races: All from Player’s Handbook + setting-appropriate options from Stormwrack (aquatic, coastal, or adaptable origins welcome). Classes: Any 3.5e base class that can fit a seafaring tone — from pirates and scouts to clerics of the sea, hexblades, or storm sorcerers. Alignment: Flexible, but cooperation at sea is essential. Expect moral grayness, loyalty, and betrayal themes. Equipment: Standard gear plus a personal memento (a token, weapon, or symbol tied to your past). Backstory Hook: Each PC begins owing a debt to the sea — a secret, a sin, or a promise yet unpaid.
