About the adventure

The skies are no longer safe. And war is coming on wings of fire. A dark epic fantasy world set on a continent where conflict has begun to spark. Will you choose to take part in the conflict, Seek to profit in a world on the cusp of war, or try to avoid conflict and brave the less travel wilds in hopes of renown and profit. For centuries, the Empire soared above the world—its dragon riders ruling the skies from the obsidian spires of a city carved into the bones of a long-dead leviathan. Bound by ancient pacts and fire-forged honor, the riders have kept peace through dominance. But peace is a fragile thing. To the west, the Steel-clad legions, arcane siege engines, and whispers of dragon-binding sorcery have begun to breach the borderlands. Villages vanish overnight. Watchtowers burn. The skies grow restless. A level 2-X Pathfinder 2e campaign with: * Free Archetype & ABP * High Combat * High RP * Player driven story * Homebrew world with player agency

About me

Hey there! I'm Michel Mayhew—a lifelong gamer, world-builder, and dice-slinger with nearly 30 years of tabletop experience under my belt. My journey began back in the days of D&D 2.5 Edition, and it's been a wild ride through dungeons, starships, and haunted cities ever since. I started playing Dungeons & Dragons back in the early 90s and have played a bunch of different games and systems since. I tend to always be the GM at least in more recent times and I do enjoy it quite a bit. I've played other games like the classic white wolf games (vampire, etc) as well as many different smaller games like Slay industries and Deadlands. Most recently I've been GMing a mix of Pathfinder / Starfinder 2e games as well as DnD 5e and most recently Daggerfall. These systems are great, easy to use and allow a wonderful framework for telling stories.

What Michel brings to the table

An unforgettable adventure crafted and created through the actions of my players. I have many years of experience and a natural talent for storytelling. I try to voice my characters to be memorable, or at least fun :D I like my combat to be exciting and will ramp up the difficulty as players get to know their classes, the world and my style to allow a challenging game that is fair. I like dark fantasy with a splash of life and fun, you can expect dark rituals, brutal lords, and morally grey characters, and a splash of fun to break things up. A world where actions have impacts that effect the world, story and narrative keeping players engaged and player agency in the world and it's style.

Safety

How Michel creates a safe table

We will have a group Session 0 to go over Content Warning and Safety Tools used as well as table rules, character creation, and campaign overview before session 1. A clear Hard and Soft "No Thank you" list will be published and can be submitted as we go. Who submits can be anonymous. Any newcomers after Session 1 will have a one on one Session 0 before joining the game to ensure table compatibility as well as understanding of the content and safety tools. I like to run games with combat, RP and consequences that remain fun however battery licking will have it's consequences as well. Player death is a thing and will always roll on the table for critical events. The world will be balanced to be fair but challenging and require players to do more than stand in one place and hit buttons. Tactics, strategy and debuffs will be a must as the game progresses. I have a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, sexual harassment, racism, homophobia, transphobia, and any other prejudicial behavior. Those who can't abide by these standards will be asked to leave with no refund.
