About the adventure
You have joined an expedition to the jungle peninsula of Chult, a dangerous and mysterious land. Ruled by scheming Merchant Princes and overrun with secret cults and ancient ruins, the lands of Chult are ancient jungle. Few adventurers dare to journey into the deep jungle for fear of the Death Curse, a magical sickness that prevents resurrection magic. For those who do journey into Chult, however, vast treasures await. Many tribes of grung, tortle, and tabaxi (among many others) live in the deep jungles, providing aid to travelers they deem worthy. If you have the right translator and guide maybe you could just find one of these ancient ruins! If you do, your adventures will make for quite the story ............... ..... as long the dinosaurs don't kill you. Or the man-eating plants. How Dawn creates a safe table
Expect an intricate world that feels alive, a wide cast of characters, and hand-crafted encounters. Chult is a land of many dangers, but this campaign is much more than combat. Story and character moments will be important parts of this campaign, as will exploration and player ambitions. During Session 0 we will talk about: - Campaign Safety Tools - The Campaign World - My GM Style - Character Creation - Player Backstory Ideas and Character Hooks This campaign is based on the Tomb of Annihilation campaign and includes additional content from Ghosts of Saltmarsh and the Hidden Shrine of Tamoachan, as well as 3rd party expansion content for Tomb of Annihilation. Ultimately, you, the players, will have the final say in the type of story that we tell and the type of adventure that we embark on. This campaign will have a heavy emphasis on roleplaying and character backstory. You are the main characters and your actions and roleplaying choices will always drive the story.
