About the adventure

Prosperon is a tabletop RPG set in a dystopian future where towering megacorporations have tightened their grip on society, reducing human lives to nothing more than data points in a sprawling machine. Within this bleak reality, the Vanguard-a courageous group of insurgents-rises to defy the growing corporate stranglehold. Players can step into the roles of Vanguard operatives, navigating high-stakes missions in a desperate bid to reclaim autonomy and awaken the masses before all aspects of life succumb to unchecked corporate control. Armed with cutting-edge technology and unwavering resolve, they must outmaneuver oppressive forces, dismantle systemic corruption, and ignite a revolution that could change the fate of entire cities.

About me

Hello My name is Jay and I'm a huge fan of running tabletop RPG games. I run games for my family and decided I'd share some of my homebrew stories with the general public. I'm not doing this to get rich by any means. I would be doing it to run an amazing story for my players and make sure that the money they do spend on my games is not squandered on bad content. I'll always have reasonable pricing for my games and I'll always give it my all when coming up with the content. At this time I've been running blackbirds quite a bit with my wife and its the system that I'll more than likely be the first system game I run, which is based of the Zweihander/warhammer system. Thank you all for reading and hope to see you soon!

Character creation

Creating your character

This is a game my wife and I created, and I’ll be walking you through character creation during our Session Zero. Stats are assigned using an array system, and all characters will start at the beginner level. The game uses a tag-based system with dice pool mechanics, drawing some inspiration from the FU system. As a thank-you for playtesting this campaign, you’ll also receive a free copy of the game.

The current party

This is a playtest game. So input on the system would be greatly appreciated. Also, some mechanics are subject to change between the start and end of the game for balancing purposes and Players need to be okay with that.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

This game will be played using a program called Alchemy. We may use Discord for communication, or possibly Alchemy’s built-in voice chat-I haven’t decided yet. I do have a Discord server that players can join for the playtest. Also, the session will be recorded for our YouTube channel to showcase the system publicly, so you’ll need to be okay with that. Cameras aren’t required, but a decent-quality mic is.

What JJ brings to the table

I will provide character sheets and a free copy of Prosperon plus expansions.

Homebrew rules

This is a new system that we have crated so this is new territory for everyone joining as a player n this gamel.

Safety

How JJ creates a safe table

Veils will definitely be used in this game. Any mature content will fade to black, and there will be no sexual roleplay of any kind. We’ll go over everyone’s concerns during Session Zero to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience. All players are expected to be respectful and mindful of how they conduct themselves—we’re all adults here, and the goal is to make sure no one feels uncomfortable.
