About the adventure
Set in the early 19th century of the Mythic North (Sweden, Norway, etc.) the story of Vaesen follows a group of Occult investigators called the society as they research, assist, or banish different supernatural creatures called Vaesen. In this campaign, the characters are summoned to the capital to assist with a series of grisly murders, only to become involved in a continent-traveling mystery involving the very origins of their order. The story is designed to introduce new players to Vaesen and the Year Zero game system. Year-Zero is a d6 system that is easy to grasp once you get into it. No prior knowledge or experience with Vaesen or Year Zero is needed but all experience levels are welcome. Creating your character
We will be creating characters together during session 0, players can either choose a archetype or roll on the lifepath table.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We will be using discord for gameplay, along with fillable character sheets for use. I will send out the link to my server once the game is live.
What Mason brings to the table
I use rule of cool when it comes to interactions/ improvisation, but I will be using rules as written for combats and investigating. I also will be using ambient music and character voices to bring the world to life.
