About the adventure
🎃Halloween is just around the corner! Now through the end of October all of my "Spooky" pbp sessions will only cost $13! (Instead of $18) Come join the celebration together with some dice rolling Daggerheart shenanigans!🎃 Ghouls, goblins, dullahans and demons welcome to the scary little town of Allhallow. Inside you'll find frights and fun galore! Will you harvest the F.E.A.R of your victims, give the mad doctor a hand in their experiments, or compete to become the king of scream? Join me in a spooktacular adventure equal parts The Nightmare Before Christmas and Monsters, Inc! This is Halloween is an asynchronous play by post, which is a fancy way of saying that we share the adventure over discord messages and that we don't all have to be on at the same time, allowing you and your fellow monsters to interact with the game world whenever you have a free moment! It uses the Daggerheart system ruleset with all current player playtest material such as the Brawler and Witch allowed to craft the hero of your star studded dreams. Whether you're a seasoned roleplayer or just getting into Daggerheart for the very first time This is Halloween is for you!

About me
Hi I'm full time game master Dungeons&Dragonfruits! I believe in working together with you to craft one of a kind stories that revolve around your characters and themes YOU want to explore. All of your decisions and goals matter and will have a very real impact on the worlds we build together! Despite an intimate understanding of the rules, for me the gamey aspects take a backseat to delivering peak cinema. Each and every moment whether it's haggling with Grubgobble the local goblin merchant or fighting the solar dragon Sunscar in a galaxy spanning battle will be something truly awesome to remember! My goal is to paint a picture in your mind so vivid you'll hear the dramatic music, feel the ogre breathing down your neck, laugh and cry together with the npcs! Roleplaying has always been a huge part of my life, I've been running sessions as a game master since I was 12. It's something that holds a very special place in my heart and I hope to share that passion with all of you! 📚I've partnered with Seedz of Literacy, a small local nonprofit organization here in Bradenton Florida that aims to provide books, educational services, and more to everyone! 10% of my profits go toward supporting this wonderful organization and helping them grow! If you'd like to learn more you can read about them in my Discord or message them directly on social media.

Creating your character
You'll all begin play as a spooky Halloween themed monsters! Its already stated in the rules but as long as it fits within the frame of this campaign you are absolutely free to and strongly encouraged to reflavor everything from ancestry to class to magic to make the vision of your monster come to life! Perhaps you're a spindly spiderfolk alchemist, a shape shifting blob, a psychic brain in a jar, or a skeletal necromancer. Sky's the limit! Once enough players have signed up to begin your journey into Allhallow, you'll build your characters together, establishing how they are connected to one another and what common and individual goals they have! You'll have access to all official Daggerheart content plus the current void playtest material to craft the awesome character of your candy filled Halloween nightmares!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
All you'll need is a discord account and to create a tupper to join in on the fun! Character sheets will be provided but you can also use Demiplane's Daggerheart Nexus if you wish.
What Dungeons&Dragonfruits brings to the table
The real magic is in the social interactions and bringing the fantastical world of the game to life together! You'll encounter a motley crew of characters oozing with personality in an adventure truly shaped by your choices and wants as players. There's no path you're forced to follow, no inevitable outcomes. The story is whatever you choose to make of it!
Homebrew rules
🎭Reskin: Its already in the base rules but to emphasize as long as it fits the campaign's vibe you are absolutely free to reskin any ancestry, class, weapon, domain card effects, or any other aspect within reason to fit the vision of your character. Use mixed Simiah natural climber/Ribbet long tongue (as webs) to play as a Spiderfolk, make the sorcerer a dream weaver whose minor illusion is bringing nightmares to life, change your magic so it's actually artifice or cryokinesis. Sky's the limit! 🧪The Void: Official test content such as Warlock and Emberkin are all allowed. Also the new stuff is pretty awesome definitely check it out! 🎒Inventory: Besides weapons, armor, quest items, potions and similar there's no need to keep meticulous track of your belongings. Just assume you have a hammer space full of every mundane item an adventurer of your trade would reasonably have. Every hero probably has a bedroll and rope, every thief probably has lockpicks, a vampire hunter probably has stakes and garlic, etc.
