About the adventure

Welcome to the World of Darkness—an urban landscape where neon lights hide ancient conspiracies, and every shadow might hold a predator older than empires. This Vampire: The Masquerade 20th Anniversary Edition game will shape itself around the stories you and your coterie want to tell. Whether you want to navigate the treacherous politics of the Camarilla, rise up in the chaotic freedom of the Anarchs, or plunge into the brutal faith of the Sabbat, this chronicle adapts to the themes and flavors you choose. This is a game about personal horror, ambition, and choice. The masquerade is only the beginning: beneath it lies a world of clashing ideologies, eternal rivalries, and the weight of predatory hunger. Do you cling to your humanity while walking among monsters, or embrace the Beast within to seize power at any cost? Every choice carves your place in the endless night, and every story is yours to shape. Newcomers and experienced players alike are welcome. If you’re looking for a flexible chronicle that puts character-driven stories at the forefront, you’ll find a space here to explore the horror, drama, and intrigue that makes Vampire the Masquerade a legend among roleplaying games. Come prepared to tell the story you want—whether it’s a tale of rebellion, politics, faith, or survival. The night is yours.

I have played and run many systems which include but are not limited to Dnd 3.5, 5e, Pathfinder 1e, and 2e, VTM Revised, V20, as well as Cyberpunk Red. I hope to bring you great experiences in whatever game i may have the joy of running for you.

Character creation

Creating your character

This all depends on what the group wants. Though we would follow standard creation rules as put down on the core book, with some extra XP depending on the group.

The current party

The current group chose to play through the Transylvania Chronicles. Starting from the year 1198 and all the way until modern times, it is a very different VTM experience. The Coterie is currently, a Tzimisce, an old clan Tzimisce, a Lasombra Abyss Mystic and a Cappadocian.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Make sure you have a discord account, a working microphone and decent internet connection. I will be using Foundry to run the game side of things, though it will be somewhat theater of the mind.

What Oliver brings to the table

I will provide a platform to play on, any books you might need I can provide PDFs for as well as my personal knowledge of the lore. Though as we all know, the lore is.... contradictory sometimes.

Safety

How Oliver creates a safe table

You can safely assume that since VTM is a darker game it carries with is heavy themes. I make use of lines and veils, as well as an open door policy. You can also at any time tell me if something is making you uncomfortable so I can handle it and make sure everyone is having a good time.
