Creating your character

Once the campaign has enough members to start play, you'll create your characters together establishing how each member of the party is connected and what sort of common goals you share! Play starts at level 1 using the standard ruleset for daggerheart. All official test content from the Void (Assassin, Witch, Warlock, Brawler, Aetheris, Earthkin, Emberkin, Gnome, Skykin, and Tidekin) is on the table, if you wanna take any of them for a spin go for it! Characters can either be created on Daggerheart Nexus or on form fillable character sheets that I'll provide on the discord. If you're new to daggerheart or don't have the rulebook don't worry! Everything you need to make your character will be right at your fingertips.

Preparing for the session

All you'll need to join in the fun is a discord and tupperbox account! You can also use Demiplane's Daggerheart Nexus for characters if you'd like, but its totally optional. A link to the discord server we'll be playing on will be provided upon signing up!

What Dungeons&Dragonfruits brings to the table

For me the goal is to have fun and make the scenes we play out together as awesome as we can, not get bogged down by strict rules and distances in feet. Instead of worrying how long the chasm is, tell me your crazy plan to cross it! The real magic is in the social interactions and bringing the fantastical world of the game to life together! You'll encounter a motley crew of characters oozing with personality in an adventure truly shaped by your choices and wants as players. There's no path you're forced to follow, no inevitable outcomes. You want to be space pirates searching for buried treasure in a lost planet? Heroes saving the universe from a robot invasion? Just sell galaxy burgers with your favorite alien merchant? All three at the same time??? The story is whatever you choose to make of it!

Homebrew rules

🎭Reskin: Its already in the base rules but to emphasize as long as it fits the campaign's vibe you are absolutely free to reskin any ancestry, class, weapon, domain card effects, or any other aspect within reason to fit the vision of your character. Use mixed Simiah natural climber/Ribbet long tongue (as webs) to play as a Spiderfolk, make the sorcerer a dream weaver whose minor illusion is bringing nightmares to life, change your magic so it's actually artifice or cryokinesis. Sky's the limit! 🧪The Void: Official test content such as Warlock and Emberkin are all allowed. Also the new stuff is pretty awesome definitely check it out! 🎒Inventory: Besides weapons, armor, quest items, potions and similar there's no need to keep meticulous track of your belongings. Just assume you have a hammer space full of every mundane item an adventurer of your trade would reasonably have. Every hero probably has a bedroll and rope, every thief probably has lockpicks, a vampire hunter probably has stakes and garlic, etc.

Player safety of course plays a major role! If there's anything I should know ahead of time as far as what you would or wouldn't like to experience please let me know! At any time during play should something make you uncomfortable don't hesitate to let me know, after all our goal is to have fun together!
