About the adventure

Hey, I'm looking for any players who are interested in a long term campaign Mondays 8PM Eastern. Looking for a group of 4-8 players and I'm open to all kinds of players from Beginners to veterans. I will explain character creation, and basic rules, talk about player expectations, and more in session 0 and help newer players more if they need it. Also session 0 is free, come join and see if you'd be interested and free to just chill and talk about DnD in general. When it comes to the game I believe there should be an equal amount of role-playing and combat so hopefully, that's something you enjoy or else we could find what everyone prefers. I'm also a fan of spicing up game mechanics to make things more fun if that's something people would like to explore with homebrew. Onto the story, I will be combining Dragon of Icespire Peak and Lost Mine of Phandelver two great starter modules, the adventure is set a short distance from the city of Neverwinter in the Sword Coast region of the Forgotten Realms setting in the small mining town of Phandalin. While there you will have to deal with the many issues plaguing the town and the area around it all caused by the emergence of a white dragon. Will you and your allies be able to defeat it or will things take a turn for the worst.

About me

Howdy my name is Juan and I have been playing TTRPGs for the last couple of years as well as dipped my toes into the DMing aspect of it. I believe in the rule of cool and having fun, I’m all about player agency and creativity. For games like DnD I like using modules but modifying it to my players so that theres still excitement and the ability to tell your own stories. I want people to feel comfortable to have fun, roleplay and explore all kinds of stories to give them the best experience. I also experiment with home brew if people are interested since I feel like it can add even more of a unique flavor to a game. If anyone is new to the hobby and worried about learning I promise to make it as easy and seemless as possible to get into the fun.

Character creation

Creating your character

Starting Lvl 1 or 2 depending and created on roll20. We can make them during session 0 or beforehand and I'll just double-check things. We will go over what classes you'll be using, your race/species and your background. Again we may homebrew if that's something people are interested to improve weaker classes and such. I will also offer pre generated characters

The current party

Currently Party Makeup is LVL 3: Dragonborn Battlemaster Fighter Goliath War Wizard Human Life Cleric Dragonborn world tree Barbarian Elf Hexblade Warlock Elf rogue/sorcerer *Already had session 9 so would be quickly caught up to speed to be ready in time for session 7

Preparing for the session

Safety

How Juan creates a safe table

I like session 0 to start by getting to know everyone and each other, going over their expectations, character creation, story potential, and roleplaying, I like to talk after a session to get feedback and find out what people liked, and disliked or if anything needs to be changed.
