About the adventure

Setting: Many people claim to have seen monsters and magic with their own eyes; many don't believe in those things at all. Pick a human fighter or human thief from the core book. You'll roleplay a volunteer or soldier stationed on the Blackwood Outpost. Tone: Expansion. Man vs untamed wilderness. Players have the opportunity to roleplay characters that took on the job for unique reasons. Unique Mechanics: *No torch-timer rule, initiative, crawling rounds, xp, or carousing rules. *If you do happen upon a magic item such as a potion, it takes a full action to use. *You can hold your breath CON rounds before suffocating and taking d6 CON damage. Make a CON check when attacked, yanked by a tentacle, etc, then start taking d6 CON damage if failed. CON restores when you take a breather. Die at 0 CON. X-Factor: Roleplay is the goal, not necessarily "winning." No map / vtt. Cameras on; just talk with each other. :^) All roleplay is in-character. Say where you are and what you do. Speak in first-person. No out-of-character chatter. Do not ask the GM questions. :^) Because we are staying in character for the whole session, we'll be able to accomplish 10x as much as a run-of-the-mill game. :^)

Safety

How Elf Hunter creates a safe table

Common sense. There will be violence. There will not be any weird sexual stuff. I like to stay on after the session to talk about what can be done better and hang out a bit.
