You are all young mages, and the ascension War while not over, has drawn to a barbed standstill. Stormclouds gather over New York City. The Stage is set for perhaps what is the tipping point of this conflict. Dark forces seek to subvert this struggle for nefarious causes. Will this Cabal- perhaps make a difference and change the balance of power between the Traditions and Technocracy? Or is perhaps an age of darkness imminent. This is Mage The Ascension. The stage is set, the players have gathered and the show- will begin.

About me
It's always good to have you here- whether you've rolled a 20 , or suffered a 1~ ~ I've been a Tabletop gamer ever since my first experiences with DND 3.5 ,Mage Revised , and Call of Cthulhu. I've worn a lot of hats in my career- from being an educator, to also working in the field of finance. I bring a lot of lived experiences and real life lore from our world and the places I've been, to the games i run- whether it be Globe Trotting in Call of Cthulhu , or playing shadow games in the World of Darkness. I have a lot of insights in the world of tabletop crowdfunding, having assisted in running several campaigns myself- and I currently work as a consultant to several companies in the world of Tabletop. Session 0 we will go through character creation. Please familiarize yourself with the basic character creation rules in the core book of Mage 20th Anniversary.

Preparing for the session
Please familiarize yourself with the core rules of Mage the Ascension 20th Anniversary edition. It is a large book, but we will be brewing our characters together. The supplement : "How do YOU do that?" is very helpful for new players.
What Cybelle brings to the table
I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion for the setting and game of Mage the Ascension. My stories are often a crossover between prestige fantasy and sci-fi drama with slices of life. Conspiracy, horror, and heartbreak will all be present. The rule of cool and player agency are the most important things to me: And a personal mantra of mine- i always aspire to be my players biggest fan.

How Cybelle creates a safe table
I use a shared Lines/Veils spreadsheet and players are asked to fill it out before the game begins. I accommodate and adjust my stories accordingly based on player needs. The X-Card as always, is a tool that's always available to players
